Dear fellow warriors on this forum,

We have a member of our little family group who is seriously in need and will never come on here and ask himself, and that's Java/Tony. He just found out yesterday that the A he thought had ended months ago between his W and a married OM has not ended. They are still actively seeing each other, still in contact, and they even went so far as to go to Easter services together with the children and then go to W's family's house for Easter Dinner.

It is devastating that her parents would condone such a thing and welcome a cheating, married man into their home. He had no clue the A was still ongoing, and to also find out that his children are involved with the OM and spending time with him is killer.

Please unite with me on this forum and pray for Java/Tony. Write out your prayers here so he can see them and have hope. Write him a line of encouragement if you know his email--or send him a card of support. If you don't know, I'll ask if we could put his email on this thread, so he can see that there are LOTS of people out there praying for him, praying for his WW and family, and supporting him.

Please, don't let me down. Let's be a powerhouse of prayer TODAY and stand in the gap for one of our own.

(There are a few folks who know what that means, let's just say he hasn't lost his sense of humor. I may be "half the man" I used to be, but it seems even that is too much for WW.)

I'm doing fine, the homicidal rage has passed. Instead I'm looking at the "revenge" section in the Yellow Pages. There's this one place that advertises "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" so I may call them, LOL

Or I'll just leave it up to God and let Him deal with it.

I did get to talk to WW today and I agreed with her that God did want her to be happy, and I hope she finds happiness.

I disagreed with her that it was OK with God to break the covenant we made before him to pursue her happiness, but only she can decide what she wants to do. As much as she wants to accuse me of being a controlling person, no human can actually control another, so if she feels controlled that is because she is giving up control.

(Meanwhile, she had no problem telling me what I SHOULD and SHOULD NOT do.) The river she swims in, de Nile is foggy right now.

But I'm doing fine. I did watch Forrest Gump this afternoon. I must really be emotional since I cried through the last half of the movie.

I cried during Bruce Almighty and at parts of Lost in Translation last weekend too. Odd huh?

However, according to WW, I have no feelings.

I lift up Tony to you to care for and hold in your arms. Father, my brother has an inner strength that few men have, I ask that you give him spiritual strength and wisdom, as he needs it. Lord you are faithful even though we may not be so Father, In your faithfulness be sufficient for him and his needs. Give him peace through the knowledge that you are at work in this situation.

In the name of Jesus, I ask that you destroy the relationship between his W and the OM. Place a hedge of thorns around her that OM would not see her as desirable. And a hedge of angels surrounding her to minister to her spirit and return her to you. I pray that her relationship with OM would not only be destroyed but that you would soften her heart to receive Tony once again.

Lord I pray for his W’s family that they would see the relationship for what it is. And have boldness to speak against it.

I pray the enemy would have no power to thwart the plans you have set in motion and that his W would be deaf to his lies. Allow her to her your voice and your voice alone.

Lord, provide patience and strength to Tony as the events unfold. Help him to seek after you first and allow you to minister to him. Bring him to a more intimate walk with you. Help him to seek what you would have him learn and give praise to you always.

I too, will stand with you in prayer. The verse says, "One sets a thousand to flite, but two sets ten thousand to flite". I've oftened wondered if that's about angels!

Father,

I pray that no matter what others may say to her, you would let his wife know in a clear way that what she is doing is wrong.

Let her hear your word concerning adultery and let her be convicted of the harm she is doing to her husband, her children and herself. Let her know that she is commiting sin, and let her have no peace of mind until she repents.

I also ask that you would begin to heal and strengthen the bond between her and Java. Help Java to build a bridge of trust with her, by his love.

Dear Lord, You are almighty, the Holy One, the name above all names. Father, You are far greater and more powerful than the enemy that is trying to destroy Java's family. I ask in the name of Jesus for a hedge of thorns around Java's wife, a hedge so deep and so wide and so tall that no attacks of the enemy can get through. Lord, please bring this wife to the end of herself, cause her to see her sin and how very much her sin hurts You. I plead the blood of Jesus over Java and his wife.
