Hello All,

Well the last time I posted my wife was moving out. Well she has moved back in and we have gone to two counseling sessions. We are going to attend the MB seminar at the end of the month. Thank you Lord for being faithful even when we are fearful.

Today she wrote a NC letter to the OM. She is determined to not be governed by her emotions, but make Godly decisions.

I would like to ask you all to pray that she remain strong in her commitment to the Lord, marriage and NC. I'm sure the enemy will try and get her to break NC.

Another prayer request is the restoration of passion to the marriage. My W says that she can't see a marriage without the passion and physical intimacy, but cannot see how we are going to regain the passion. Please pray that our marriage be glorifying to God in every area, passion included.

I thank you for your prayers and please know that I pray for all of you here.

Way cool!

Time and consistancy with you meeting her needs; and she meeting yours, will restore the passion.

Rediscover each other. Make new memories; with and without the kids.

More blessings upon you.

Wow, that is great. Praise God for answered prayers. Praise God that you wife is heeding the call of God.

I'm envious of you brother, but I don't want to take away from your joy, so I'll just live vicariously instead <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

Dear Titleist,

Praise God for your praise report. I am so thankful to here your marriage is headed back to Godliness. One thing you need to understand is that passion, whether physical, or emotional, starts with a decision. It's just like forgiving someone who has deeply hurt you. You make the decision as an act of your will. And then you ask God to make that decision real. It takes time, but the peace will come, or as with passion, the feelings will come. Both of you must be faithful, and loyal to that decision. And I would encourage you as the head of the marriage, to pray everyday with your wife, for restored love, intimacy, and passion. It would be great if you did it together with both voicing your request, but you should do it regardless. You have authority to loosen, and to bind. Use it!!! God has given you a blessing that so many here are desperately longing for. Do everything to protect it!

God Bless You Titleist

Thanks everyone for sharing in my praise for God.

There's no way I can take any credit for what He alone has done.

I'm thankful for those here who are committed to praying for others. My wife and I did our first devotional together this morning. Wow, it only took me 14 years to take my place as a servant to my wife.

I don't know all of the dynamics of each of your situations, but God does! I trust that what God has started he will finish. Things really began to take off when I REALLY put everything in His hands. I've learned through this process that God is more Pro-Marriage than all of us combined. He able to condition the will and free choice of our mates to the point their choices become what He wants for them.

I know there are going to be continued peaks and valley's, but God will see us all through them as well.

If God be for us, who can be against us... It takes a different amount of time for each prodigal to reach their end. Give them the time they need and be steadfast in God.

Father,

I thank you that no trial is forever. You are more for the success of our marriages then we could ever dream. I ask that you give each of us the grace, wisdom, and understanding we need for each of our situations. Help us to know when to speak and when to be silent; when to act and when to be still. Help us to find our peace in you and the fact that you are working all things together for our good, and your Glory!

Now unto Him who's able to do EXCEEDINGLY, ABUNDANTLY above all that we ASK or THINK; according to the power that works in us!

In Jesus' Name!

Titleist: I will pray for you and your wife that you both trust God to heal your marriage in all areas. I am sure that the passion will return. You may have to be patient. Pray for your wife daily and yourself as well. This is very encouraging news. Thanks for sharing. Peace

Praise God for your good news!

I also wanted to share as well. After my W asking me to leave two months ago and her telling me she would put no more effort into the marriage, that she was done, today I kept praying for the Lord to give me a sign of where my life/marriage was heading. As my W was picking up my son she said that she was almost finished with the MB quesionaires! I was almost floored! She said I may not like what is in them, but I see it as at least an effort for something on her part. Thank you Lord!
