Last night I called him very late, and told him it is time for him to move out of her place and end it. He gets paid next week, and he can afford to find another place.
I asked him to decide.
I can't go on like this.
He just said ok and hung up.
He was on messenger a few minutes later, so I told him its not fair.If he is n't being upfront with her he needs to tell her and end it, and if hes not being upfront with me then I need to know.
I don't know what is really going on. If they have feelings, I need to know. But I can't take this secrecy anymore.
I think he has been lying to her, and was afraid to hurt her.
It has gone on too long.
I dont know if this was right , but I did it anyway, and I am praying God will help him do the right thing.
Now I have to wait and see.

I LOVE ya, Shul, you know that, right? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />
I think you need to go over and read CJ's (Fiathful Wife's) reply to George Bailey.
I think it's time for you to start TRUSTING GOD and give this whole situation to Him then BACK AWAY from it.
Take a rest. You need it. You deserve it. God wants to take this burden from you.
We cannot know or understand His Plans for us. Plans for a good future and a hope......... All we can really do is Trust. HE WILL DO THE REST IF WE GIVE IT ALL TO HIM.
That is the prayer I will pray for you.
God Bless,

Yes, you are right.
I am just frustrated and impatient.
But I know God has this in hand.
Thanks Lupolady.

Lupolady,
I think God is telling me something.
We have a house, that we built. but there is no work out here. I didn't want to sell it , because I was afraid.
But a while ago I prayed and asked God what to do with it. I said , if I should sell it,please send a buyer.
Someone showed up last weekend while my husband was there.
I thought maybe selling the house meant that he and I were done.
But now I realise that this is the way for us to make a fresh start. Its not an end, its a beginning. We can pay all the debts, and move to a new community, and have just enough to get started.
He wants this too, but he couldn't see a way, and neither could I. I have been blind and fearful. It has been so hard for him , not having work out here.
This is a risk for me, but I sense that God knows it is time. I am ready, now I am going to pray that God will make my husband ready.
And that God will prepare jobs for us both, and a place to live.
Selling the house is first.

Shul,
If you had to describe your relationship with God using one of these four words what would it be?
Stranger, Aquaintance, Friend, Intimate Friend.
If you read Faithfulwife's post to George Bailey, you will see that trusting God fully (without taking matters into our own hands) requires intimacy with God. I'd like to offer up that with you saying "Selling the house is first" isn't true. I'm not saying don't sell the house. I'm saying that your R with God comes first so you will KNOW what God wants you to do (not just think you know).
Intimacy with God is first. Then you can do what lupo suggests and "Back away from it and take a rest". You really do need it and I guarantee you will find it as your intimacy with God grows (as well as knowing His will).
I had the opportunity to speak to a group of 50 men a short while back. In a nutshell I told them that intimacy with God, requires you to talk to Him (Prayer); listen to Him (Read God's word) and give Him honor (Worship them). Fail to do any of these and you short change the relationship. Do them in a half hearted way and you won't have an intimate realtionship.
Spend time with the one who loves you more than life itself (He did die on the cross for you). I quarantee you won't regret it.
Blessing to you. Your brother in Christ.

Thank you S&C,
Yes, I agree that I need to take time to hear from God.
He has provided for us in everything this past year, and He knows what to do with my husband.
I am tired and discouraged. But even though things look very grim, I know that I can't do anything. All I seem to do is get in the way.
I am going to back off and let God deal with my husband.
Concerning the house, I had put out a fleece some months ago. And I am willing now to sell it. He has been saying for a long time that he hated it out here, felt trapped.
I can live at my job.
I give up.

Shul,
"The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want He makes me lie down in green pastures He leads me beside still waters He restores my soul.."
We have all heard this one haven't we?? The Twenty-third Psalm. But look at what is said here.
"The Lord is my Shepherd." This is the Hebrew name of God "Jehovah Ra-ah" which means "Almighty God whose name is unspeakable--MY SHEPHERD." Now in the Old Testament days, I guy was not just a shepherd by standing around and looking at sheep (like a DPW worker now! hahah). Nope, to be a SHEPHERD the guy had a relationship with his sheep and knew each one of them. He knew their names, and their weaknesses and fears, and their preferences and needs, and he gently guided them where they needed to go--protected them from predators--cared for them. A Shepherd...a real shepherd...tenderly lead, loved and kept his flock safe...he was their feeder, keeper, companion, friend, pastor and herdsman.
Hey, guess what? He had a relationship with the sheep and doesn't it sound to you like he knew them intimately?
Shul, the LORD is YOUR SHEPHERD. Just think on THAT for a while! Holy smoke for real! He KNOWS you: your name, your weaknesses and fears, your preferences and needs--and He will guide you where you need to go!
"I shall not want." Hey, this isn't an "iffy" thing...this is a promise. You shall not want. Period. Anything you need, you shall not want. Shul?? All your needs will be provided for and it is positive and assured--you just shall NOT want.
"He makes me lie down in green pastures." Why? Why does he "make" you lie down? You want to keep moving, keeping trying, keep changing, keep growing, keep..., keep..., keep.... and he MAKES you lie down!!! AARRGGHH! Why does He DO that?? Because He is the Shepherd and He knows what's good for you. You are exhausted and you've been trying and working and you are TIRED, so He MAKES you lie down. Now, is it in the middle of the some hot pavement somewhere that He makes you lie down? Nope. He leads you to a nice, green pasture--green and lush and cool and soothing and nourishing--and THEN He makes you lay down. Isn't that AWESOME?
"He leads me beside still waters." I always envision kind of a babbling brook thingy here. So He doesn't yell and you and say, "Get by that brook you crazy XYZ"--and He doesn't just say, "Go by yourself--you figure it out!" Nope, He takes HIS time and He shows you the way and leads you there himself. And once again, does He lead you by the soda machine? The coffee pot? Nope! He leads you by Still Waters that are refreshing, renewing, waters of life that are pleasant and soothing. Now, if you didn't need to be refreshed and renewed, He wouldn't care and he'd let you keep trying and working and growing and changing wouldn't he??
"He restores my soul." Ah, that's the one I like. Okay, so you're tired and He makes you lie down (probably under protest)...and you're thirsty, so He takes the time to lead you himself to some cool water...and then what? Does he just leave you there to enjoy the surroundings? He could...it would be alright to do so. But no, our God, the Lord OUR Shepherd, restores our soul. He gives us time to restore our physical self AND our spiritual self. ALL areas are renewed.
Shul, you don't always have to be "moving forward." Some days it is a good thing to rest and not go backward.

ISN"T THAT AWESOME?!?!? That God would make sure they would be safe at the waters by providing for STILL waters for them?!?!?!
Second point: I was just having a convo w/a friend on the phone, actually, and this very point came up!! She was reminding me (which is a very funny thing, since she's not even saved, but has a "head knowledge" of God), and she was commenting to me that often we "put God in our own little box....." So then *I* said, "In other words, WE decide how God is going to make a particular situation work out, when in fact, He has about 100 different ways He could work a situation out that we can't even think of!!!!"
I think there are scriptures to substantiate this comment, but I don't know their references right now.
Take care and take time to Rest in God, Shul.

Thank you both.
I couldn't see it.
I am at the point of exhaustion. I am going to let God take over, and just rest. I am so tired. I have tried so hard to show him Gods love.
I have been putting limits on Gods power and ability. You are so right, He knows lots of ways to reach my husband, he knows exactly what to do.
A surgeon knows exactly where to cut and how deep, and what to do to to remove diseased parts and heal without causing more damage.
He knows my husband better than I do . He knows the thoughts and intents of his heart. He knows how to reach the hurt places.
I am not God. I am like a plumber trying to tell the surgeon where to cut, yes?
I think I will get out of the way.

Update,
Something is going on . He called me a few times today, but he was at work, then I was asleep (I work nights).
I just have this feeling something is going on with him, I don't know what, but I feel unsettled.
I sense that he needs pray coverage.

We need prayer. I have been upset all day.
I talked to my husband briefly, and he said that he was depressed yesterday, and thats why he called- that he was going to raise something with me, but that there was no point.
I don't know what he meant or what is going on , and my imagination is working overtime.
My blood sugar is low, I am tired, probably low on iron, and work is getting to me.
All I have energy to do is pray.
I am so worried about him. When he comes to the point where he sees that things are not working out for him his way, he needs to see that God will give him a fresh start, that there is hope.
I am trying to stay calm and remember that God is doing something, even when I can't see it.
I feel like Peter on the water. I have to stop looking at the waves.
