since I came to this site.
Over the years I have come to believe that our words reflect our beliefs. That we sometimes speak things into being.
We are all praying and asking God to restore our marriages, and doing the best we can to walk in love.
We need to stop speaking negative things into our situations. I hear people saying things like"I knew this was going to happen!" when they encounter a setback. Or in their signitures they say "headed for Divorce" or "Plan B is next".
It is better not to say anything, than to speak in this way.
Better yet we can start talking as though God is actually doing something, which He is . We can say that God is working on our spouses, which he is .
We know that it is Gods will that marriages be reconciled. It is His will that we be reconciled to Him.
The question that remains is CAN HE?? Can God save us and our spouses?
Yes, I believe he can. I think that he has the odds greatly in his favor!
(Actually I believe he has already won the day, at Calvary, but I won't go there.)
Anyway, I am going to challenge you all to stop eaying negative things, and start saying positive things for the next week.
I already know what will happen. There will be changes in your situation. You might not all see it right away, but some of you will. And whether or not you see it, things will start to change for the better.
And if things look worse for a bit, thats okay.
Trust Him, no matter what it looks like.

Amen Shul.
whatever detail satan throws at me- I hand it back over to God.
and I remember all the good things that were and all the good things are yet to be.
I BELIEVE in the restoration of my marriage and the Power God has to heal. God put us together and I trust in Him to help us find our way back.
PEACE OUT

How true! How can we believe that God sent his only Son to die for us and save us and change so many people throughout history but yet not believe what he can do for our marriages? it is hard though to not pray for your own agenda. it's a difficult balance between praying for your hearts desire (Mark 11:24) and what you believe is God's will. But in the end we know it is God's will that we should all trust and obey him and obeying him would include ending A's or R's outside the M. We just have to keep praying for those who are lost in all this whether they are God's children and are astray and/or if they are not even believers in the first place.
even though our hearts are troubled we just need to keep giving it to God as he asked us to and pray w/confidence and pray for those who have hurt us. prayers to all of you, RR

prayers DO get answered- I NEEDED and craved more learning about the Holy Spirit this week-I wanted to understand and be FLOODED- I prayed so much for that.....when I woke up next- there on INSP was a minister talking JUST about that.
I am learning to hear HIS answer......

who sows an uncommon seed will reap an uncommon harvest! I will sow obedient seeds. I will give what I want to receive. I will wait on the Lord and trust in HIM.
