Hi, all.
Well, I started this thread to ask all my friends to remember to pray for "us" (that feels SO GOOD to write!!!) this next week. I will be leaving right after church to drive (1½ hour drive) to my dad's house. I will spend the night there, and then Monday drive (another 1½ hours) to H's apartment.
We will spend the next few days together.........it's my birthday Tuesday, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> and we will "celebrate" - go see a movie, and shop (he wants to buy me a couple of new outfits) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> then later, dinner. We will be spending a LOT of time talking and "reconnecting."
I want us to "connect" on many levels, but especially spiritually. I am praying that God will be with us in all we do, that my H will want to share our time w/God, will want to pray with me, talk about spiritual things w/me, and is willing to listen to what God is trying to direct him to do (he is starting to do that).
Please remember us this next week, and remember to PRAISE GOD for this opportunity to show my H the "new" me!! The "pearl of great price" that God has been making of ME for the last 3 years (most of it has been WITHOUT my permission <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" /> ) I fought it so many times. It was just too painful..........but necessary.
Gentle, you have been such a major influence on my thinking.........and my spiritual walk. THANK YOU for all your guidance! I hope you read this. I hope you know how valuable and loved you are to me.
