...far more than I can in redeeming my husband.

(all our spouses).

- Unlike us, God knows exactly what is going on in their lives right now. He knows the thoughts and meditations of their hearts, their motives; the areas that need healing...

He knows the circumstances of their lives, and not only theirs , but the other people involved .

God has power to alter or bring about circumstances to suit his purposes, to accomplish his will.

He can bring about the perfect situations at the perfect time, (which he alone knows).

He has a birds eye view of everything that is going on.

He has power to cause our spouses to hear a certain word at a certain time, for someone to cross their path, enter their lives etc.

He knows the past and the future, and is not constrained by time or space.

He is like a farmer who knows exactly the right depth to plow, and when to harvest.

God generally doesn't interfere with our free will, but he can make it very uncomfortable for us to stay in rebellion, and he can bless us and make obedience very rewarding.

He will save us in spite of ourselves, like when a sheep goes off the path and finds itself in danger, the shepherd rescues it. He will not give up searching out one of his sheep.

He has overcome the world, the flesh and the devil.

He can't lose.

Darkness cannot overcome light. It is impossible.

God will reconcile our spouses to himself and to us.

Our job is to forgive them as we have been forgiven and to love and to pray for them.

He had his own free will to do what he wanted instead of what God was telling him. He sure must have been uncomfortable inside that big fish!! May God allow big fish to swallow our H's and bring them to the place He wants them to be!

God Bless!!
