Hi...a short history here...my wife and i have been married 29 years last june....the pressures of a diabetic son attempting suicide twice, my failed business, bankrupcy and IRS issues and an affair 3 years ago have us a bit whipped. We seperated for a few months with her choosing to leave....thru lots of tears, prayer and reading lots of books including his needs her needs, winning your wife back before its too late, saving your marriage alone etc.... i received support from HIM and his people....We reunited, Please pray for us that my wife will learn to trust me again, accept counsel and trust God again... and that i will be all i need to be to show her I am trustworthy. Any one having gone thru this and any advice will be appreciated.

Father,

Thankyou for loving Blueridge and his wife adn for bringing them thus far.

I ask that you would pour out your love on them, that htye would treasure every minute they have together, that they would begin to work together as partners with you, to show your love to those around them and to each other.

Help them to see one another with eyes of compassion. Let them be kind.

I ask that Blueridge would be moved with tenderness toward his wife, and that she would respond with affection and gentleness.

Thank you Lord for all you are doing and will do in thier lives.

Blueridge,

I take it your the WS? From what it sounded like in your post anyway. My H & I went through the same thing (we've been M'd for 12 yrs) & like you, I too read the books & relied on God to have my H return. As long as you let God lead you in your decisions & let Him lead you on the path of recovery, you can't go wrong. It will be hard & there will be ups & downs but in the end, it will be worth it.

I pray all turns out well for you.

Love in Christ,
Y
