We are currently living back together but things are not moving smoothly towards recovery.
We went to counseling last week and the counselor suggested IC for him before working on us.
I wasn't expecting him to call ... but he did.
He just called me to tell me that he called and he is waiting for a call back to make an appointment.

Please pray for him, that he can see the light and the way. That his mind and his decisions will get cleared for him even if his decision is not to stay with me.

Father,

Intervene in this situation to bring her husband to repentance and to be reconciled with you.

Be with Mily and give her wisdom. Bless the children involved. Let these parents do what is best for their children, I ask in Jesus name, for his sake.

Mily,

All I can say is wow. I read your thread. Seems like your H is very confused. May I suggest that you read Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian. We post a prayer each week on the Restoration of Lives thread that hopeful creates. This book helped me tremendously in knowing how to pray for my H. And I can see the changes he's made (despite himself) in just 1 year since all this happened to us.

The best thing a W can do for her H is pray for him. God hears those prayers & the H can be sanctified through his W as long as the W is a believer & goes to God to change either herself or her H, whichever He feels needs to do the changing.

I will add you to my prayer list. Hold onto God's hand -- He will help you through this.

Love in Christ,
Y

Thank you very much for your prayers.
Yes. That's exactly what he says that he is confused. I love him very much but the state he's in right now, just keeps hurting us.

I'll be buying the book this weekend. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks again.

I just wanted to post an update ...
xH went today to IC ... I asked him to move out on Wednesday due to the fact that he spent Thanksgiving with OW and OC and on Tuesday he said he had to work. An hour and a half later, after calling him and receiving no answer, I went to OW's house. He was there.

Anyway, he went to IC today. He called and told me about counselor and visit. He seemed very calmed. He is living alone. I prayed for him during the whole hour the appointment lasted.

His next appointment is in two weeks.

Mily,

It seems as if the prayers for your H worked in that he remained calm. Did you get the book yet? I pray that your H finds peace in whatever he decides. I also pray that he can find his way back to God & do right by you & your children.

Love in Christ,
Y
