Hi Candice,
I am new here also, so I don't know if I can help. But I will try. I saw a section on this website about this, it was addressed to men, so you might want to look around a bit. It talked about telling your spouse every opportunity that you get to say "I love you" and to add that with a hug, a kiss. It said to do these things especially on initial meetings-when you rise in the morning, or see each other first, when you part, etc, and when you are just together. I would think cuddling is a good form of affection, back rubs. It sounds like your spouse needs reasurance from you, we all need that. Maybe you can ask him specifically what he needs. Anyway you have come to the right place. This site seems to be really right on. I like it. I will try to find where I found that article. Good luck and congratulations!

HI Candice I found it. On the home page of Marriage Builders in the emotional needs section under affection, the first article.

Hi Candice-Lynn

Get and read His Needs/Her Needs. Its a good book, I would even read it together with your future husband.

I unfortunatly did not show my wife enough affection. Now I'm here, changing.

Absorb all you can from the website. Check out the Q and A section.

Good Luck
