When our son was born, I was not prepared for all the stuff nobody really tells you about ahead of time. I was suffering from post-natal depression, crying every night, as well as constipation, and one I hadn't considered... not being able to hold in gas. Go ahead and laugh... my husband and I have never farted out loud in front of each other. I just think there are so many other things that work to destroy romance -- why help it along? Anyway, this was pretty distressing to me, and we were in bed one night about a week after the baby was born, and I was crying (again), and farted. Couldn't help it. I apologized, and explained that I couldn't help it, and my husband suddenly farted too. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> He said, I didn't want you to feel alone. Well, I went from crying to laughing hysterically. I will always remember this as one of the funniest and most romantic things he's ever done.
