Thanks for the feedback,
I really don't believe that I have gotten any stronger lately. I did get stupid though. I was on Wellbutrin and was feeling really good. I did not like the idea of having to take medicine for the first time in 39 years. Hey, I'm fixed! Yeah, pride, there's nothing wrong with me. So, yes you guessed it, I stopped taking it. Whoa, back to square one. Heavy depression. Bad Val days turning into a week. You are witness to that.
I just started taking it again this past week and they kicked in on T-day. What a relief to be back to my "normal" self. That is about the same time Sheba took over NB's really nice thread.
One thing with regard to Michele, before we agreed to "hang out together" it was well understood that I am still [you heard it here before] legally and morally married to Val. There would be NO emotional or physical contact. That I would like nothing more than to get back with my current W. I cheated on my 1st W and WILL NOT ever do that again. That still bothers me to this day that I could do such a thing.
I can not give my love to anyone at this time. Valerie still has the exclusive rights to my true devoted love and until she finds fit to give it up, it will stay that way.
Then there's that fire thing again that Sheba started! I am not worried about playing with fire. Did I ever tell you that I am cross trained [two fingers crossed behind back] as a fire fighter. Believe me Mr. Winky is out to lunch and not interested in returning calls right now.
I still have the "hots" for my W. I hope "she" comes back.
------------------
Wishing us all the Best.
Medic

Hi NB,
Hey, first off, did you see what Sheba did to your really sincere post of the holidays? That just ticks me off!
Ummmmmmm I'm kinda running out of brew here. Could you do me a favor? Did you know that if you pour some of your champagne in the CD-ROM drive it will come out here for me? I'm getting thirsty....
On a totally serious note, if Val does not wish to return to me to build the marriage, I probably will get married again and be a GREAT H to someone. But, there will always be a spot in my heart that only she can fill.
Take it easy on the champagne and don't forget to send ME SOME!
Thanks NB, hope your'e not mad about ruining your thread. I though we just needed a laugh.
Take care. God Bless.

------------------
Wishing us all the Best.
Medic

I go up there every Sunday AM to put her cardiac meds in one of those "plastic take your pill jobbies on time" things. I check them over twice. SOMEHOW, one of the pills that she takes daily mysteriously disappeared. Must be a time warp.
She was a little lonely tonight. T2 and I visited for a while and REPLACED the pills.
I'm guessing you had a very good time this evening?

------------------
Wishing us all the Best.
Medic

Medic,
Gosh, yes! The wine on top of the margueritas can't really be all that good for me, now can it??? I HOPE I am not going to pay for this tomorrow.......
Your Mom is lucky to have a caring son like you. Taking care of the meds is nice, but much nicer to "be there" when she gets lonely and wants to reach out to her son. I know my kids have been great to me, too. I am 44 and they are worried about me - always wanting me to play video games with them, go out with them and their friends, calling me to check on me, etc. Ah, finally my reward for wiping all those snooty noses! Truly, they are GREAT!
I am amazed at myslef. I have done extremely well over this Thanksgiving holiday. I guess my H is still in FL with his OW - been there since Monday. We had a really wonderful holiday despite the fact he wasn't here. I am doing just fine - although, like your bad-Val days, I have bad periods of missing my H, too.
I am a social creature - so I am socializing a lot here on this forum.
I LOVE all the wonderful people I have met here. So many people who have LEARNED so much! MOST people here will be PRIZE CATCHES for anyone -too bad the spouses don't see how motivated and educated we are. Awareness, motivation and skills are the hallmarks of any successful venture - don't you see a LOT of that in the folks here????
So, I guess you are having cyber alcohol sinceon the meds???? Are you sneaking some beer?????? Tell the truth, Medic.....
Roll Me Away
------------------
"Life is made up, not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things in which smiles and kindnesses and small obligations, given habitually, are what win and preserve the heart and secure comfort."
Sir Humphry Davy
YOOOOOOOO RMA,
Medic's secret formula for the "I hope that I will not get sick tonight or tomorrow because I drank too much and will throw up on my sneakers or drive the big white bus". [don't tell anyone else, ok?]
Take magnesium tablets before you go to bed. They are readily available at the corner drug store. It prevents the hangover in the AM. No headache, nothing. EMS folks are heavy drinkers, not on duty, and have many parties and banquets. It has helped many! Well only my buddies that I give the secret to.
My Mom lives right across the street from me. Just a little too close. Val has already mentioned that! We could never do anything without her knowing. Reason vs excuse?
We [Mom and me] were never a close family. After her heart attack it was like she was a totally different person. We have never been closer. Maybe the fear of God?
The bad Val days were because I foolishly stopped the Wellbutrin. I'm sorry that you also feel the absence of your H. It certainly blows goats.
Hey, write whenever you want, I'm usually around here somewhere. The only thing I'm concerned with is that some of the other folks here think that we are belittling the infidelity situation by having some upbeat threads. I won't wallow in self pity.
I don't WANT to be here by choice. But, I thank God that I found this place. You Guys have been the best!
Oh, and lastly I was walking through the kitchen earlier tonight and tripped on a cat toy and an open can of beer may have fallen in my mouth as I was saying OOOOWWWWWWWWW.
[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
------------------
Wishing us all the Best.
Medic

[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Okay, you guys, my champagne high is wearing out [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] boo hoo, and I would have shared, Medic, but I was greedy and drank it all!!!!
Medic, the way I see it, my thread was defiled by both of you juvenile delinquents, and if Tempest won't punish you then I will be forced to report you to the cyber authorities. If champagne can be poured into the CD rom, then I don't see why I can't send a salmon through the works, and that's just what I'll do...
Salmon Instructions:
Pull salmon in its entirety out of CD Rom
Place into blender
Blend
Pour over head and shoulders
Watch "Wizard of Oz or Willie Wonka and the Chocalate Factory" on video - that will be punishment enough
Have a nice night, you two!! Cheryl,
You first - thanks for the recipe and GOOD NIGHT!
P.S. Haven't been called a juvenile delinquent in a LOOOOOONNNNNNGGGG time! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Medic,
To quote our dear friend, NB:
"BAD, BAD MEDIC!"
Now, just HOW did an open beer fall into your mouth, again??? Bad mix with the anti-depressants, and YOU of all people know this!!! Where is CHERYL'S FROZEN SALMON when you need it????
OK, we do definitely need some upbeat threads and light-hearteed posts. I think I have missed some where maybe folks have gotten p^ssed - don't remeber any right off hand. Hard for those in the initial pain to understand the need to be "happy" sometimes so you don't go crazy, ya think?
Lastly, well thanks for the tip about magnesium, buuuuuuutttttt, it is about 11:30 pm here in Atlanta and I have NOOOOOOO magnesium tablets in my house, so I guess I will just hurt tomorrow. Hope not. Will be going to bed in a few. Want to reply to a few others here who need a "friendly" post. Good night, Medic.
As you say, Wishing us all the best! Talk to you tomorrow!
Roll Me Away
------------------
"Life is made up, not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things in which smiles and kindnesses and small obligations, given habitually, are what win and preserve the heart and secure comfort."
Sir Humphry Davy
