This is the great battlefield at our house and where I am seeing the greatest impact of exerting my authority over all the power of the enemy through prayer. My dear husband has such trouble with his thinking, and that verse that says as a man thinketh, so he is really reveals itself. I have really noticed that my praying as he is raging or in stinking thinking mode does two things-reduces my getting sucked into responding negatively to his abusive verbalizations or feeling a need for defensiveness. I know Satan wants to destroy my marriage. I will not give him the power! And secondly, I find that my husbands calms down faster than previously as I pray for the Spirt to clear his mind of all negative thoughts and to flood his mind with all that is good.<P>Father, I pray that you continue to renew the mind of my husband, that you remove all indecision and negative thinking, that you give him clarity of thought according to your will. Help him to bring captive every thought to the obedience of Christ. Pull down the strongholds, cast down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of you. I thank you for the gift of my husband and for the trials you have brought our way, knowing that your purpose will be fulfilled. In Jesus' mighty name I pray.

Everyone,<P>I wasn't sure where to post this prayer but I decided this chapter of POPW pretty much labeled where alot of our husbands are hung up.<P>The Mind is the place where the devil plants his lies and so it is here that most of our men struggle. <P>It seems that our H's for the most part have once seen God's grace and have fallen away. For those who have yet to see Jesus salvation they as well are affected by the devils lies that faith is phony.<P>Here's the Truth:<P>.....BEFORE we recieved Christ we were slaves to sin.<BR>.....because of Christ's work on the cross, sin's power over us has been broken.<BR>.....Satan has no right of ownership or authority over us.<BR>.....he is a defeated foe, but he is committed to keeping us from realizing that.<BR>.....as long as he can deceive you into believing that you are nothing but a product of your past, subject to sin, prone to failure, and controling your habits, he can block your effectiveness as a believer.<BR>.....as long as he can confuse you and blind you with his dark lies, you won't be able to see that the chains which once bound you are broken!<BR>{{{{{{{{{{{{YOU ARE FREE IN CHRIST}}}}}}}}}}<P>This is from the devotional today by Neil Anderson at <A HREF="http://www.ficm.org" TARGET=_blank>www.ficm.org</A> He says, "once a person is free, you would be amazed at how quickly he matures".<P>Lord, Today, set our husbands free. Cause those who are saved by your grace to see again the truth of their salvation. Cause those who have never recieved Christ to open their hearts to the truth that you are real and will do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We ask this that our marriages might be fully restored to be an example of the miracles You can do in this dark world. Allow our husbands to see clearly and completely the lies that Satan has been planting in their minds. Give us faith to trust you for the answers to the prayers we pray. May our husbands become mature men of God who will glorify your name in their actions. IJN<P>

Lord, I pray for your words to come through to Arik in the battlefield of his mind. I pray that all thoughts that are not of you and from you will be banished. I pray for discernment on his part that he will recognize those thoughts that are inherently evil.<BR>I pray lord that when Arik speaks his mind and it is not of you that I will react in a loving and caring way. Lord, please clear the fog in my husbands mind and refresh him with your Spirit. <BR>Please remind him of the warm, restful pleasant place that awaits him in You. <P>Thank you that he continues to come to church. Thank you that he is committed to going to our counselor regularly. <P>Please deliver him from the feelings of helplessness with regard to breaking contact with the OW. Please strengthen him, uphold him as he tries to break all contact. <P>Please continue to speak to him as he sleeps, instructing him when he cannot argue. <P>Please help him to desire me only and deliver him from lustful thoughts.<P>Please flush out his mind and set him free from the bondage she holds him under. I rebuke the Jezebel spirit within her and in the name of Jesus, I cancel all assignments of evil spirits sent to disrupt our home. <P>I declare that my husband has the mind of Christ.
