Here it is, direct from my favorite book in the bible [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
10 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,
11 and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.
12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
13 Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,
14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
15 All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you.
Especially vs 13...Forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead!!
My specific prayers are the same as last year I've discovered, but I am much more encouraged and have more of a positive outlook this year... A solid spiritual family (Husband leading as head) a sound financial situation (Husband as provider) and a solid marriage/homelife/family ( no more OW trying to steal whats mine )...
and if this is fine I believe that our health and happiness will automatically follow...
Bless you all on this New Years Eve, and may the New Year bring all those things that our hearts desire as we learn to delight ourselves in the Lord... Ps 37:4
cozy

Cozy,
What wonderful words to close out the old year and ring in the new!
That is also a favorite scripture of mine as well. "Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead....."
What lies ahead is secure in God's hands and He alone is Sovereign, I can count on His faithfulness and that is enough for me.
Thank you for sharing those verses with all of us.
May God make us all into the kind of women that will bring glory to Him and in whom He can take pleasure.
