This is the 7th and probably final time he has left. I posted in the Infidelity Forum "I think this is my last roller coaster ride". Pray for me for wisdom in my life, with my H & with my children.
I honestly don't know what to pray for my H. He needs God.
Thanks you guys.
And Taj, thank you for continuing to put up posts.

------------------
Lor
"Do not get tired of doing what is right, for after awhile you will reap a harvest of blessings if you do not get discouraged and give up. Oh, Lor,
I had hoped that the reason you weren't posting was a good one. I am so sorry to hear that things have gone this way again.
Please keep posting to the Bible study forum, we will surely keep praying for you.
Lord Jesus,
please hold Lor and her girls in the palm of your hand as they go through this difficult time.
Please give her wisdom and give her your perspective so she can act in accordance with your will.
If a permanent break occurs, please enable she and her husband to make arrangements that will ensure positive interaction with his daughters.
Please carry the hurt that this family is feeling.
Please help her girls to cope and go on with their daily activities without too much anguish. Please comfort Lor and give her your peace, which surpasses understanding.
If this is a situation where divorce is necessary and acceptable in your eyes, let her know that clearly from you.
Amen
hugs, dear friend,
liz
------------------

"I have found the Pearl of Great Price"
Lor,
I like Liz have wondered where you were. I almost posted to that affect but thought better concerning your privacy.
You have changed so many women by starting this positive forum for prayer. I see God working daily not only in my life but in the lives of many.
Prayer works Lor, you know that or you wouldn't of started us all on this wonderful book/prayer adventure.
I will be praying for you and say Amen to the prayer Liz posted. May God give you a specific sense of direction today and may He expecially encourage you in His love.
"Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known onto God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus". Lor, this is my prayer for you today.
Love, Taj/Cathy

I know what your going through Lor... I think the separations between my H and I totalled 9 before I kicked him out for 8 months and wouldn't let him come back till I felt for sure that it would work.... H asked to come back during that time and I wouldn't have it... told him I'd pray and when I had peace he would be welcome back.... So far so good... Maybe its Plan B time... and be good at it...
I think the dose of reality H got during this last 8 months really made him realize that he didn't want to jepordize his situation here with us, althought I am not sure what his reasons are I know hes trying..
Have you ever done a plan B? Im going to be praying for Gods guidance and wisdom for you, and the spiritual eyes, ears and heart open for God for your husband...
Take a deep breath, know that God is in control, remember even if the circumstances look earthly bad, that God sees beyond this and it passes through his hands before today was, He loves you so much that He knew that some good would come out of this (All things work together for good to those who are called according to His purpose) and that you will be OK in His arms during this new trial...
Trust and Faith are hard to grasp, but I have come to understand that I go through so much because God wants me to grow and mature to do great things through me... He can't use people of little spiritual character to do His purpose... Be thankful, He has chosen you for something special... Maybe more time to pray and work miricles....Edify us here...Build your home into the spiritual foundation that will enable your girls to become mighty women of God? You never know do you.... Read "Experiancing God" by Henry Blackaby... It taught me alot about the trials we go through, what to do, how to cope, and why....
Our earthly eyes sometimes blur our spiritual vision.... Veiw this trial as a spiritual heartburn, rest in Gods arms "KNOWING" he is in contol no matter what the circumstances look like, and He loves you so much that 'Everything' that occurs in your life will be for your good... This thinking has kept me sane!
You will be in my prayers much through today for the sound thinking that will bring peace.
Love and Blessings, cozy

Lor, I have been wondering about you too. I agree with Taj and the others posts. This news just makes me want to cry. You have done so much for all of us. If you had not started the postings for POPW I never would have known to read it. This book has made a tremendous impact on my life, and opened my eyes to just what God had been trying to tell me for so long, change myself before even thinking about asking for change in my husband. Please keep posting and praying with us, you know we all will be praying for you. {{{{{{{{{Lor}}}}}}}}}}}

Lord, according to Rom.8:28 you will work all these things out for the good of Lor who loves you and has been called according to your purpose. We don't know how you are going to to that, but we stand on that promise, and also that none of this...not the horrible situations, not the lonliness, not the difficulties, not the daily questions and arrangements none of this can separate Lor from your love. God please give her your comfort and peace now, confirm your love to her. please Lord let her feel it. Guide her, and give her wisdom in all the decisions she needs to make. Lord, strengthen her shield of faith as she extinguishes all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Help her to trust you, and even in this trial, draw her and her children closer to you.
"Brothers, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. you have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy." James 5:10,11
Thank you Lor, for persevering, for not giving up-it has blessed me, and i know you will reap a great harvest.

Taj, Cozy, POGP, AW, Neen thank you all for your prayers, you've all crafted them so beautifully.
I feel like I have hit a brick wall. My H is saying the right words, ie, he needs God, he can't do this on his own...yet he came home Sat night, left again Sun. & now I have had only email since then and he's left town with work until tomorrow.
I was apprehensive when he came home after Thanksgiving that he was coming home only for the holidays. Part of me knew that I shouldn't have allowed that homecoming, but I went "worldly"--I knew the holidays would be much easier for me & kids with him home.
For those of you that are familiar with Dobson's "LOVE MUST BE TOUGH" (a lot like Plan B), that is what I feel I am being called to. I'm also struggling with feelings of wanting the misery to end through divorce. I know divorce brings its own misery.
The extent of my H's confusion can be shown by this statement, "Lor, have you ever thought that maybe God wants our marriage to end so that you can have a nice Christian husband?" Well...among other things, that's who my H is...was?
I don't know how to be "tough" without being mean or angry. I'm a bit glad for this 2 day respite of his being out of town.
I've prayed all the way through POPW and am starting over and skipping about. I keep repeating "mind", "choice" & "integrity". I should probably work on "wife" as well. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Be assured, I am OK. I know God has his hand on my situation. My marriage may not survive, but I will.
You all are wonderful. Please keep the discussions going. I'll be back when I feel clearer.

------------------
Lor
"Do not get tired of doing what is right, for after awhile you will reap a harvest of blessings if you do not get discouraged and give up. Lor,
Thanks so much for letting us know how you are. It seems I check the forum more frequently just to see if you have posted.
You have been on my heart and I will continue to pray for you and your family.
I thought my situation was tough(long term affair) but my H never looked back after discovery and we are trusting God for complete restoration of our marriage.
You on the other hand have been challenged with a long term recovery process with many ups and downs. I know God only gives us what we are able to handle in His strength. Somehow I know that He will bring you through this like refined gold.
Get some rest Lor, think of yourself and your girls. Let God fill you up so you have something to sustain you through this "age long minute"!
God Bless, and please check in every now and again.
Love, Taj
Hi guys, thank you all for your prayers.
Update:
My H wants to come home. He says he has come back to the Lord...the glitch is, he said this in Jan of 99 and there really was no change, he said this in Nov and it wasn't true. I don't think it is true this time either, so I am not letting him move home...thinking that if it is a true change of heart, he will be patient with me and earn my love, trust & respect back. I'm pretty empty of all 3.
My H is very smart, very manipulative, very controlling, although he would disagree with the last 2--saying that is what I am.
It seems like my prayers have become quick yelps--I think we've all been there? I know I am under Enemy attack. Just the fact that I feel unable to come here and post alerts me to that. Anyway, I'm confused, I'm angry. When I do pray I work through the forgiveness, but I'm having terrible "image bombardment".
We see our Christian counselor tomorrow. My H set up the appt. I'm not even sure I want to save the marriage anymore...is God moving me that direction? Or is the enemy misleading me? I know, pray...

------------------
Lor
"Do not get tired of doing what is right, for after awhile you will reap a harvest of blessings if you do not get discouraged and give up. (Gal 6:9)

Lor, I will also be praying for you and your husband. Is your appt. an evening or daytime appt.? Keep praying, an answer will come to you. If you haven't had a chance to read hw's post on spiritual warfare, please do. We'll all be praying for you.

Lor,
God hears prayer and we all know the confidence of his intervention. He will lead you as you seek Him.
I just read that the only prerequisite for knowing God's will is to be willing to be obedient to it.
You're in my prayers and have continued to be a part of this board whether you post or not. We miss you!
Blessings, Taj/Cathy
------------------
"Perfect love casts out fear" I John 4:18

in times like this we need to keep our focus on our Lord, NOT on our h behavior, promises, or failures.
God's promises for you are not dependent on you h. i need to remind myself of that everyday.
"But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord; whose confidence is in HIM, he will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes. Its leaves are always green. It has no worries of drought and never fails to bear fruit". Jer. 17:7-8
doesn't that sound like how you want to be? i do!!

Lor,
read my post on confusedone's post. I have
really been moved by prayer.
My husband moved out 4 months ago. It is so hard to see them go. Yes, we talked this weekend really for the first time, but I don't know what or if it will lead to anything. God is mighty. Do not lose faith. Have faith in God. Look to Him for your hope not your husband. If nothing else it will lead you to a better place. I am praying for you. God bless!!

neen - yes, that verse sounds like how I'd like to be! Putting my focus on God instead of my husband is what I need to do, so hard to do though. I've just got to remember my priorities: God first, then husband.
