Dear Father in Heaven, I pray for Carol today, asking that You give her peace in her heart regarding her marriage and her life. Please give her wisdom and the strength she needs to get through her trial. Lord, please draw her close to you and comfort her, every minute of every day. We ask this in the name of Jesus, AMEN.

Carol,
We put so much stock in anniversaries. I know I do. Everytime the 14th of the month comes around I think that it has been so many months since my heart was broken and the life I thought I had ended. It has only been the past couple months that I have forgotten to grieve on the 14th!
I understand the meaning of this day to you and I pray God will wrap His love around you and get you through this sad anniversary.
To God a day is like a thousand years(II Peter 3:8). The scripture admonishes us not to let this fact escape our notice! We all on this forum need to rethink how we view so many things and this may be one of them. So much sadness revisited.
Father, release Carol from the sadness that is gripping her heart. Time is standing still in a way to you compared to our timetable. Help us not to look at time in earthly measure but in such a way that it is another "moment" that we are trusting you. Give Carol the peace that passes all understanding, The strength that is found in you, and the wisdom of Solomon to know what next step is before her. Would you call it a blessing or what. I'm not sure but I'm asking God. As I said my husband gone one yr today. He stopped over, (I dont know but we run a business together (plumbing))when he finished work had a meatball sub left overs from our dinner and a piece of cake visited for a while talked about tomorrows work. Kissed me good night told me he loved me and would see me in the am. I dont know why but after he left I walked into the office and paged him. I typed him a note, Good Night, I love you, I want you, I need you, I miss you, sweet dreams,Together we can work this out, Have faith. Why I did this I don't know. A few minutes later he called me by phone and told me Sweet Dreams and He loved me. What a coaster ride. Without God I do believe I would have done jumped off. I never liked coasters. My faith is in God. Thanks for reading my jumble. Good night all, Sweet Dreams, God Bless You.
Carol

Yesterday my husband invited me to lunch. I went his girlfriend seen us together. Caused some problems she said she didnt want him anymore. He did come home with me last night. He asked what I wanted I told him to work our problems out. I told him I coulnt hold him against his will it was his choice he did stay all night. He had been drinking a lot. This am he looked unhappy and left went to be with his girlfriend. This roller coaster ride is hard. I only want to do Gods will. God doesnt like divorce. Last night my husband told me he was about ready to come home but not yet. Then the run in with the girlfriend. God show me your will. I pray in Jesus name amen.

Well he left at 12:30pm and its now 7:10 pm and he's still with the girlfriend. I pray God will touch their hearts tonight. I keep remembering what he's girlfriend said last night about the bad year she has had with her dad because of my husband. I know this girl and her family. Her father doesnt approve and her mother does. God please bring them to their senses. Funny she's only worried about herself and family doesn't think about our family. Not angry just hurt I do know God will take care of it in his time. Thank God for you All. Such kind words and prayers. I do appreciat them.
I'm praying for all of you. God bless.

Carol,
Sounds like he is at least thinking about coming back. Keep up your prayer vigil, it will be worth it. Also, if you haven't had a chance to read emani's post on the Prayer Request forum, please do so. It will give you some ideas what to pray for and how. We will be here for you, Carol. God bless you.

Carol,
I agree with AW, go to the prayer forum and read the prayer posted by emani. I am really going to begin praying scripture like her post suggested.
One of her thoughts was, Lord, trouble their thoughts! I believe our H's really need for their mind to view the OW for what they really are and not the fantasy they perceive them to be.
Father, Make this man uncomfortable with the OW. Cause his thoughts to be "troubled". But give him clarity when it comes to thoughts of his wife and family. Lord, cause such discomfort that he will wonder what is going on! LOrd, we know this is how he should feel from the convicting of Your Holy Spirit so we are praying for Your will to be done. IJN
------------------
"Perfect love casts out fear" I John 4:18
