Just thought I would share the name of a great book that I am currently reading that is helping me to stay calm and centered and realize that all the little annoyances my H and I experience are oh so normal. It is a book on building spiritual intimacy with your spouse. It is written by a Christian couple with 30 years experience in counseling. Definitely a great read. It's called Made to be Loved, building spiritual intimacy with God and your spouse. The authors are Steve and Valerie Bell.Found it in my local Christian book store.

Sounds interesting. Is this book geared towards couples? Or, is there parts that would be helpful to those whose spouse is not a Christian? Thanks so much.

It's not just for couples. It's basic premise is our own individual relationship with God first, how knowing that love He so unconditionally gives to us can help us in our marriages. It says we need to realize that our spouses cannot give us ALL the love we crave and need, that that is what our God is for. I am hoping my own H will read it,he's not much of a reader, but has allowed me to read to him some parts of this book I found interesting and funny.I am finding it to be a big help to me.It is helping me to keep my big mouth shut when I start finding myself expecting more and more of him!
