On the subject of affection... do any of you ladies feel as if YOU are actually the one who witholds affection at times? I find myself holding back sometimes, especially when my H shows affection in public situations. Why do you think this is?
Carrie.

For me, it feels like a possession thing, especially if he is not being tender and affectionate at home. To only show affection outside of the home seems phony. Since I do love tenderness, I am trying to respond appropriately and still pray for it to pour over in our home.

I guess my problem is not so much that... we are very affectionate at home, it's just public places where I feel annoyed or anxious. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif) I posted on the other "his affection" thread about this, in case you're interested.
Carrie.

------------------
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
-1 Peter 4:8
