Positive Confession

Your words are powerful! There can be foolishness in talking, and saying the wrong thing! What does this suggest? That there is a right thing to say also.
1. Read Proverbs 18:21
What things have you said that were wrong? What were the consequences?

2. Confessing with your mouth, and believing in your heart that Jesus was raised from the dead brings salvation.
Note the first step is confessing with your mouth.
The second step is believing in your heart.
Salvation is as near to us as our hearts and mouth.
Read Romans 10:9-10
Read Romans 10:17
What does Romans 10:17 say about our ears? How did you come to know Jesus? How did you confirm it?

3. Matthew Chapter 10 talks about sending out His first missionaries. In verse 7, the first instruction from Jesus was to announce the Kingdom of
Heaven was near.
Read Chapter 10.
What were the three ministries of Christ?
How powerful is the spoken word in verse 32 and 33?
How is the first instruction to "speak" in verse 7 important?

4. Read John 12:42 and 43.
What is the reason people do not Confess Christ? What does not speaking cause?

5. Faith leads to hope, and positive confession transmits power to the goal.
Hope maintains a good attitude, sets goals. Faith obtains the goal, and will turn a good attitude into reality.
Read Hebrews 10:23
Because of our salvation, we do not question or doubt what God has promised us.
Keeping our eye on the goal, Hebrews 10:22, we stay focused.
Read Hebrews 10:36.
How do we receive God’s promises?
What is God’s will? Read Mark 11:22,23
God does not want doubt in our heart. He wants us to have the power in our word. He wants us to obtain his promises. He wants us to patiently do His will.
6. What is faith? The Bible defines faith as the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it ahead.
Faith is the evidence of things hoped for, but not yet seen.
How was the world, the stars, and all things made? Read Hebrews 11:3
They were made by words, God’s commands, words that could not be seen.

7. Read Mathew 18:19. Is there power in more than one?
If we do the will of God (and speak his promises, his truths), and 2 or more agree, have patience, God will come through.

8. The Word of God is significant.
Genesis 1:3
God Said______________________________
Genesis 1:6
God Said______________________________
Genesis 1:9
God Said______________________________

9. John 1:1 The Word
Who is the word? What is the significance of the word first?
10. Psalm 148:5
His word is sovereign. (Referring to the Word spoken upon creation).
11: John 12:49 God’s (Word) and instruction lead to eternal life.
Mark 4:14 The Seed is God’s Word. (Note, the seed will grow according to what we will accept of God. We are the soil, not the seed.

Confess what you believe. Not just concerning salvation, but what you
believe God’s will is in your circumstance. God is a Good God! Know
His character. He gives in your heart His will.
Believe in your Heart! Pray God’s own Word’s for your situation!
Based on these principles from the above study, it is safe to say it will
come to pass!

Some of the Confessions that Bozo's Deb posted regarding Positive confession from Marriage Builders,
July 20, 1999:
I have the mind of Christ and hold the thoughts, feelings, and purposes of His heart. (1 Cor.2:16.)
I am a believer and not a doubter. I hold fast to my confession of faith. I decide to walk by faith and practice faith. My faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Jesus is the author and the developer of my faith. ( Heb.4:14, Heb. 11:6, Rom.10:17,Heb. 12:2)
I hear the voice of the Good Shepherd. I hear my Father's voice, and the voice of a stranger I will not follow. I roll my works upon the Lord. I commit and trust them wholly to Him. He will cause my thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and so shall my plans be established and succeed. (John 10:27, Prov. 16:3.)
I let the Word dwell in me richly. He Who began a good work in me will continue until the day of Christ. (Col. 3:16, Phil. 1:6 )
I tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. I take my shield of faith and quench his every fiery dart. Greater is He Who is in me than he who is in the world. (Ps. 91:13, Eph. 1:13, Rom.8:2
Regina,
I need it again and again and again.
I read your post last night on the infidelity forum. I ran over to my mail box, and cut and pasted this on the women's bible study forum for you, and then I tried to get back over to the infidelity forum to give you a link, but my server kept cutting me off!
I am glad you ended up seeing it.
I need to keep my eyes on the solution, and practice the positive confession as well.
TNT

This is the way that I live. I appreciate the study and just want others to know that this really does happen and plenty of us are living speaking the answers of God and His Word into our lives. The results of our living and speaking are the circumstances we are in.-- I got through it with God Leading me! Be Blessed Everyone
