Regina, I'm sorry I didn't see your post of last night until this AM. I will pray for you today all day. <P>Dear Lord, I lift up Regina Engel to you this morning for an infilling of the Holy Spirit. Lord, your child is hurting so much, she needs extra love and comfort today. Please be with her, carry her through this trial. I ask in Jesus name for the Holy Spirit to place conviction upon her husband's heart, deliver him from the spirit of addiction and lust. Fill his heart and mind with constant loving thoughts of his covenant wife, Regina. Cause him to hunger deeply to know You, and to be with his family. Trouble all his relationships with unbelievers. Please place dedicated Christians in his path today Lord. Call his name softly Lord, speaking directly to his heart. We are asking for a marital recovery, according to your will. Thank you dear God for your faithfulness to your children. Thank you for hearing our prayers. We praise your Holy Name!!! All glory goes to our Father in Heaven. Thank you Jesus, AMEN.

I'm praying for you Regina, and your husband. You will both be in my prayers all day today. Keep your eyes focused on our God, Regina, and turn your husband over to Him. I know that is the hardest thing in the world to do, because I struggle with that daily, but it is the only way that we will get relief from this heavy burden. Ask God to fill every empty place in your heart with the Holy Spirit right now, and that He will erase your pain. Keep praying for that all day today Regina. He drinks heavyily aw, that's where all the problems started, satan has him believing the alcohol is his friend and it will ease the pain. He call bout 10 am said he got sh*t faced and couldn't drive home and actually sounded like he meant it, he actually ask me to forgive him for causing me pain, this call came after I ask God to burdened his heart and call to atleast let me know he was ok. Keep up the prayer vigil Regina. God hears you, God knows how much pain you are in, and he will work in your husband's life. Praise God for answering your prayer! Thank you Lord for convicting Regina's husband about his behavior. We praise your name! Regina, please keep up Plan A and prayer, I know how very very hard it is, especially when alcohol is involved. I know all about those sleepless nights where you have no idea where he is, he doesn't call, and won't call you back when you beep him. Just looking at a beer can makes me think of all the hurt my husband has inflicted upon me because of his addiction to alcohol. I will faithfully pray for his deliverance from alcohol addiction until the day I die, because even if he does quit drinking, there is always the threat of the enemy enticing him to to drink again. <P>Prayer makes all the difference!!<P>Love to you,<P>MTAW

I just read this message from the Standers Prayer Group and thought I would share it with you. Counting our blessings is something we should do every day.<BR>-------------------<BR>Hi,<BR> <BR>Just a thought and a very simplistic thought at that. But, it is a thought that has brought me into a new place. I hope it will for you too. Some time ago I had to find a way to deal with the hurt, lack, depression and all the rest that goes with our type of situation. I found one that helps a lot and is part of my life now.<BR> <BR>This is simple but takes a massive amount of discipline to do it in the beginning. Every morning I began my day by counting my blessings. Some days I really had to search for them! Every night when I finished my prayers I counted my blessings again. It was much better for me to go to sleep with the thoughts of blessings in my mind and spirit than the other stuff I had to pray about.<BR> <BR>All through the day as things happened I would put them in a category, blessings or not. If it wasn't a blessing I found a blessing to counter it. Like, today I wasn't able to pay my rent. But today I was blessed that I still have a roof over my head. PTL for provision. You see in spite of the fact that I didn't have the rent I still had the roof! <BR> <BR>It seems like a silly thing but believe me it works over time to change your perspective.<BR> <BR>Try this one. Today my husband/wife didn't come home. But PTL today they didn't die and go to hell either - that means God still has time to work repentance for them! That would be about the bottom for me. <BR> <BR>Or, today my husband/wife said some terrible things to me, told lies and distorted the truth. PTL there must be something inside that is telling him/her that the reality would bring them to repentance and their heart is still soft enough in that area to create a negative response. You see a totally hardened heart wouldn't care at all one way or the other!<BR> <BR>How about this one? My husband/wife's heart is so hard I can't see any soft spots at all. Praise God that it isn't me that has to work with his/her heart! God created it and God can re-create it at His pleasure! The harder they are the more brittle they are and the more they shatter when the Master strikes His blow of Love! PTL<BR> <BR>Just for a change today sit down and write out all the things you have that are good. Even tiny things like today I have toilet paper! Believe me if you didn't have it that would be a big big deal!!! (hummm how do I know that? LOL) And if worse comes to worst thank God that you have water to wash with!!! ROFL Now if that isn't getting right down to where we live I don't know what would! <BR> <BR>Hope this advise brings a new way to deal with your reality and some humor into your life today. <BR> <BR>May God's Richest Blessings Overtake You Daily - Sandy
