Yup, Stormie Omartian wrote us a wonderful letter.<P>Here it is:<P>Dear(put your name in for its for you),<P>I received your letter and want to thank you for writing. I apologize that I am so far behind in my mail. I have been working on a new book project and have fallen behind on all deadlines. Please forgive me.<P>I am so glad that you enjoyed my book, THE POWER OF A PRAYING WIFE. I pray it will continue to be a blessing to you. I am so proud of you all, doing such a good job of interceding and allowing the Lord to change you for His glory.<P>In case you are interested, I have written a workbook to go with this book called THE POWER OF A PRAYING WIFE PRAYER AND STUDY GUIDE. It is designed as a Bible guide with probing questions to help a wife discern how to pray specifically. Also there are prayer cards coming out as well, so you can stick them in your purse or on your night stand.<P>Thank you again for writing. Taj,<BR>Welcome back. That is so neat that she wrote you back. It would be neat if she did check out the forum. Besides the book it is the prayer support that has developed between us all that has been such a blessing for me. And we are putting the power of many praying wives togather making our prayers even louder and stronger Thanks for sharing with us. hw

Welcome Back! So glad she acknowledged your letter and hopes she visits this site sometime soon. I recently purchased the Prayer Journal to go with the Power of a Praying Woman and am really enjoying putting my conversations with God on paper. Very time consuming but enjoyable. Do any of you have the study guide? Our bookstore doesn't have it but I would order it if recommended by others. Let me know if you've had a chance to check it out. Blessings, J

Rootbeer, <P>Calif. was cold and wet! What is it? First Texas and now Cal! <BR>Glad to be back, I checked in on the forum once but didn't have a chance to post at all. Really missed the fellowship! <P>hw, <P>I wrote to Stormie of the fantastic bond that has developed between all of us through our prayers for each other. Sure hope she is inquisitive enough to check out the forum.<P>newday,<P>I have the journal as well and have just begun to write in it. It is dedicated to all of my faceless friends on this forum. I am planning on checking out the study guide on Monday. It sounds like it would be a nice addition to this study book.<P>We are fast approaching the end of this book in regards to chapters, maybe we should consider following up with the study guide. I also would like to see us post more in regards to how the book speaks to us since that was the impetus which got this whole forum started. I bought the study guide last week, and have started working through Chapter One. That is truly my favorite chapter of the whole book. It's like the words on the paged just JUMPED out at me, telling me what God wanted me to do!<P>Taj, I agree, we need to get further into the book, and relate to each other how it has caused our faith to grow, blessings we've gotten, and of course the answers to the prayers we're praying for our husbands. <P>I just can't say enough good about this book! I praise God every day for leading me to this site, and for the loving fellowship with all of you. This trial I am in has been so emotionally draining, I never would make it through without y'all to keep pointing me back where I need to be - following God's guidance, and letting Him handle it. <P>Thank you all for being here ladies!

P.S. - the woman I talked about in my post today about the Power of Prayer went home after we talked, got on the web and ordered Power of a Praying Wife and the Study Guide! PTL!!!!!

I think starting again in chapter 1 using the study workbook would be wonderful! I know personally, as long as I keep praying for my H especially through the current circumstances that God will keep my heart open and soft so that Im able to except whatever God has in mind for my marriage down the road... At this moment God has just said, "Look for true repentance" and that is where I will stay and pray... Chapter 25 to begin off my prayers each day then add what I feel I need to.<P>I guess I should go get the workbook I can't wait, as the changes in me I really appreciate so far, and I don't think I ever want to quit 'starting at the beginning' of this book, as I come to the end each time.<P>It would be kinda interesting to have the author of this life changing book drop in!<P><P>------------------<BR>Jesus is the only answer!<BR>His blessings, Cozy
