You all probably know that I am one of the longest in recovery. We are in our 3rd year and it was only 6 months ago that I finally felt we were going to actually make it.
I have asked for prayer pretty much for my H that he would finally forgive himself and begin to walk in the Spirit again.
Well this week some changes have occurred which I felt were answers to prayer. I posted on the update post which I think cozy set up.
Anyway my H spoke up at a church meeting for the first time since coming out of his sin. Now, he seems to be in some kind of controversy and the overseers are going to be talking to him. Wouldn't you know Satan would want to muddle this up.
Please pray that God would guard all of us in our conversation and especially that my h would not end up getting trashed. (The overseers know of our personal struggles) It is time that my h begins to be apart of the body of Christ again, he does have a voice and i for one am glad to be finally hearing it again.
Thanks for being there, love, Taj
------------------
"Perfect love casts out fear" I John 4:18

Dear Heavenly Father, I lift up Taj's husband to you, praying that You will be with him as the overseers of his church speak with him. I pray that the Holy Spirit be present at this meeting, and guide the meeting. Lord, thank you for working in Taj's husband's life, all glory goes to You. Lord, please guard all conversations concerning the topic, and let it all work for Your good. I also pray that you comfort Taj, give her peace, and joy in her heart. IJN, AMEN.
Taj, I'll be praying for him every day about this. Love to you,
MTAW

Taj,
I too will keep you and your husband in prayer. This must be such a blow. But God has a purpose and a plan. He is an AWESOME God!!!!!
Father,
I lift up Taj and her husband to you. I pray for your divine intervention, that this too be used for good for her husband, Taj and the overseers. Lord, you are Lord of all. We praise your marvelous name and we pray in confidence that You do have this under control. Bring peace to Taj and her husband and let this draw them closer to You and to each other. Amen

Rootbeer and hw,
Thanks for your prayers. It was a bad day for me yesterday. I am such a protector of my husband and just don't want him to be sidetracked from going forward in the Lord.
I will keep you posted as to the anticipated discussion. My H says he has alot to say and I expect he does. I just pray he doesn't drag his hurt with him into this discussion. Once he was disciplined 3 years ago they pretty much kept him at arms length and he felt ostracized. Alot of that of course was his own guilt but like I said it seems he is finally pulling out of it.
I need to quite being his protector, I don't believe that is in my job description as a praying wife. We just had a visit from one of the Overseers from our church. It went great!
After the meeting we followed up with a letter to the council of overseers stating clearly what our concerns were. They discussed the letter and came to let us know they appreciated us voicing our concerns! Believe me this was a switch from the response at the meeting. Basically my husbands questions were ignored. They validated his opinions today and he definately feels heard.
This truly is a change of heart and I know God has been at work. Thank you all for your prayers!
If I see the power of God anywhere it is on this forum! You women are awesome and your faith is astounding! "Without faith it is impossible to please Him for those that come to God must believe that He is, and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him!
Yup, thats the women of this forum, diligent believers!
