I have so much more to post to update you all. But I am going to be brief - H will be coming home in 30 minutes. <P>SD didn't come home from school Friday, and we didn't know where she was. Got a call from her boss twice on Sat, and she hadn't showed up for work on Friday or Sat. <P>Sat night, when the 2nd call came, H answered the phone. He decided that we should go find her - I think because her boss thought that we were louses for parents because we hadn't seen the 16 year old since Fri at 7 am.... and had no clue where she was.<P>We went to town and started looking for her. We found her in a pizza parlour, she looked loaded, in some guys sweats - and no makeup, dyed her hair red, looked like trash. We took her to the hospital for a drug test. It was positive. <P>Then we took her to the police station, and she got a lecture from the officer. Then H threatened her like crazy. <P>I guess he thought he went overboard, because he has been lying for her all week, she refused to get up and go to school on Wed, and when I came home from picking our son up from school, it smelled just like pot in the house.<P>MIL said that SD came over right after I got home, and she was "higher than a kite". <P>I mean we take one step forward and 3 steps back. He is now back to overtly covering for her and blaming everyone except his daughter for her choices. <P>It is so frustrating. We still need lots of prayers. <P>Her mother will be here very soon now, and it seems she will live with BIL. I asked BIL if this was true, and he skirted the issue. I can assume that means yes.<P>SD told the police in fron to me Sat night that I tried to strangle her and I hit her.<P>I've never laid a hand on her, ever. I used to make her sit in the corner when she misbehaved when she was little. That is it. Unbelievable.<P>She called her mother in CA from the police station, and from what I can guess from SD's replies, is that her mother told her what to tell the police - to allegate that I've abused her. Unbelievable! H did nothing whatsoever about the lies.<P>I'm really losing steam here. Ugghhh! <P>Chugga chugga chugga chugga choo choo I'm plugging along - one day at a time. <P><BR>

Oh, my, TNT, what a trial, huh. I don't know if I could hold up as well as you are during all of this. My prayers are with you, and your family. It sounds like you've got a rough road ahead. Hang on tight to the Lord. Satan is attacking you mightily. <P>Dear Lord, Thank you for giving TNT the gift of faith. We praise You for guiding her through the trial she is in. I pray in Jesus' name for her protection, and more of Your strength and wisdom for her. Lord, I lift her step-daughter up to you, asking that the Holy Spirit take ahold of this girl, enlightening her! Dear Father, this child of yours needs your firm hand to turn her around. I pray that Satan's hold on this girl be broken, and her heart softened and convicted. Lord, please be continually with this family, making your presence known. IJN I Pray, AMEN
