Please add this to my prayer request. My mom called me today. She didn't want to tell me because of all my burdens right now but decided I might be hurt if she didn't.
With heryearly gyn exam they found some thinckening of the uterus. Also she says she's had bowl symptoms and is now experiencing some discomfort also. I don't know how long she's felt symptoms and the Dr was vague on what he saw in an ultra sound. So Wed morning about 10:00 am she will have a biopsy in the Dr's office and then probably a hysterectomy?
I told her I was glad she called because I could pray. She has been church going in the past and really involved when we were kids, but I don't think she is saved. So I pray for her salvation also. When I told her I wanted to pray, she said I'm sure with your group. I said several groups. I am going to call early on Wed and see if I can say a prayer with her on the phone. I'm glad our prayer time is on Tuesday night and in coinsides with my fasting and prayer on Wednesday. Thanks, you are all truely beautiful children of God.
Father, I praise You for Your marvelous self and works in all our lives. I praise You for forgiveness. Our sin underneath all our sin is wanting to take Your place on the throne substitute ourselves for You, put ourselves in control. Your answer was to substitute Yourself on the cross for me. How awesome and somtimes I find it hard to understand. Oh, Jesus I lift up every women here. You know our hearts and our needs. Thank You for answering. I lift up all our husbands and ask You touch them in ways we never expected or can fathom. Becuase You answer our prayers in ways more marvelous then we can imagine. I lift all the children of these marriages up to You and ask a special prayer of protection during these turbulent times. I lift my mom up to you and ask that You will put Christians in her path to tell her of Yourself. Instruct me in how You want to me to witness to her. Also You are the creator and you are the ultimate of healers. I ask Your healing hand on my mother, Bea. I place her, our children, our husbands and ourselves in your hand this day, and say Your will be done. Into Your hands we place our hope and prayers. Amen.

Joynicole. Glad to hear you had some time with your h today. My h came over again also.We talked some more. At one point we were sitting side by side at the computer and I felt sparks. I don't know if he did. I could have turned around and kissed him but I think I want him to make the first move. We have established that he has felt some desire for me, much to his surprize. If I had suggested and fooling around I bet he might have agreed. But since he told me the ow is suppose to come into town next weekend I decided as much as it sounds like a good think 2 things. One I respect myself and I want to wait until something is known yet then again if he indulged with me what would she think. But I really just want things to evolve naturally if they are going to and if it is God's will. He said he talked to the ow this morning and he couldn't have cared less. She noticed and asked what is wrong. I know this puts him in a quandry again, what to do. But as he said for the last 5 years he has thought that she is what he has wanted but many times lately he just doesn't care. So I believe God is indeed working. There is a church 2 doors down from his place. After i dropped him off I noticed a sign about a mens group. I pray God will lead him there if it is Bibical and in God's will. That is amazing to me. But non the less we had a great conversation and he admitted perhaps a lot of the way he views me is based on years of projecting the unwanted parts of himself onto me. So there has been some honest talk at least. He will be coming over here tomorrow after he gets the replacement piece for the computer, although I may not be there. I am going to give him room and not call or bug him. It is God that has to do the convincing not me. A week ago I wouldn't have believed that we would even be talking like this.
But I want to make sure I don't get caught up in him and put God second. God is still the one who taked care of my needs and is first in my life and i want to keep it that way. My hope is in Jesus not my husband. It is so easy to get caught up in making our husbands an idol. God must be first and all the rest will fall into place.
I will likewise keep praying for your husband Joy. Have a great evening. hw

MTAW,
Thanks for your prayers. I read another post by you and it is so great to hear you talk about the changes you have seen in your husband. God is a mightty God. I ordered Stormie's study guide to POPW. I hope I get it sometime this week. Her autobiography sounds good also. I'll have to look into that. Have you read George Meuller's aotobiography. An amazing story. It is encouraging to see these powerful historical figures we associate with walking with the Lord so closely have too gone through serious doubts. Even CS Lewis was not always a Christian believer.
MTAW thanks for keeping my mom in your prayers. She is really scared and I guess didn't tell anyone for two days. But my sister and her friend live near by and will be with her. If she has surgery then I will probably try to go out there also.
Have a great week. hw

Dear HW: I am so sorry to hear of your mom's trial. But, you know, God has a plan. Perhaps now is the time He will work to draw her closer to him and you will be there to support and share this with her. He always uses these difficult circumstances for His good. Sometimes it takes a situation like this before we turn our lives over to God. I'm sure many of us can atest to that! I will pray for her strength and salvation and open heart to receive Jesus. Be sure to tell her you love her and how God loves her even more! Blessings, J
