Well, ladies this topic that I am attempting to write must be important because I have been kicked off yet another time, unbelievable.<BR>I was attempting to share the awesome prayer time I had tonight. I too prayed for a large part of the day. The Lord, is so incredible. My Bible study prayed for 2 1/2 hours instead of study. But it was not until our prayer time that I felt so moved.<BR>Today God gave me some new insights. I have been feeling a longing for intimacy. What God showed me is that I should seek that need to be met in Him. When we have intimacy met in Jesus that desire is completely and perfectly met. I feel that I experienced that with God during our prayer time. Then this longing for my husband to meet this will be realistic. Because He, Jesus, has already met it, then the intimacy I seek with my husband is on top of the foundation that I have with God. I will then not have any unrealistiuc expectations from my husband. Neither will I be disappointed in either my husband or the relationship when it doesn't live up to some undetermined measure. This longing I have can only be deeply met by Jesus. He waits for me to come to Him as He waits for my husband to return to Him. He waits on the road with a ring and robe and sandles. He waits expectantly as He wants us to wait on Him to fulfill His requests. He is God. He wants us to Be still and Know Him. Seek Him with all our hearts and souls. He wants us to long for Him. He longs to satisfy that longing, but do we go to Him enough. How awesome, God seeks me and my company. I am over whelmed. <BR>Father, I lift up the prayer time and thank you for the priviledge to come before you and that you want a relationship with you. Thank you for my sisters here who lift your name and these prayers to You with me. Lord, I know you hear our prayers. Lord, come quickly and answer our prayers according to your will and for Your glory to shine for all who witness the changes and the answers to our prayers. Let the world see You through us. Dear Heavenly Father, I praise You Lord, for giving us this opportunity to pray together. We have come together to pray for our husbands, asking for total restoration of our marriages. By faith, we trust in You completely to heal the broken hearts, and repair the damages done to these marriages by Satan. Forgive us Lord when we have been weak, and let our faith slip. Lift us up Father, giving each praying wife an infilling of the Holy Spirit, and along with that, Your peace and understanding. Thank you Father for going before each praying wife in every thought, word, or deed concerning her husband. Thank you Father for preparing the unbelieving husbands' hearts to accept You as your Savior, and for enlightening each husband as to Your Truth, for Your word tells us that it is your desire that all should come to know you, and none perish. <P>Father, please give each praying wife Your grace and love, enabling us to live such a compelling life as a Christian that others, including our husbands, will want to love and trust You also. Work in our lives by Your Spirit, Lord, so that as we trust You, You can give us our deepest desires, all for the Glory of You. Please let Jesus shine through each of us, let others see Your reflection when they look into our eyes. <P>Lord, we pray in Jesus' name that each praying wife will receive abundantly the gift of the Holy Spirit. Let the Holy Spirit convict us of our transgressions, so that we may repent and draw closer to you. Let our walk with You be so rewarding that we will always seek You first in everything we do. Give us Lord the wisdom to know when to speak, when to be quiet and when to "shut up and pray" concerning our husbands. <P>Help us dear Father to control our thoughts and not be deceived by Satan into thinking negative and disrespectful thoughts about our husbands. Remind us mightily to rebuke the devourer continuously, for You have given us all power and authority over the enemy. Thank You Jesus!!! Bind Satan's powers, and give us an extra shield of faith to ward off his attacks. <P>I also pray right now and lift up each praying wife's husband to You Lord, asking that a hedge of thorns be placed around each husband, a hedge so thick that it is impossible for the enemy to penetrate it. Place a burden on each husband's heart to come to know You, and develop a deeper, closer relationship with You. Show each husband where they have sinned, and bring them to total repentance. For those husbands who are separated from their praying wife, I pray that the Holy Spirit will place an overwhelming conviction upon his heart to repent and go home. Let each husband's mind be so filled with loving thoughts of his wife, that no thoughts or feelings for another can get in. Trouble the relationships each husband has with those that are stumbling blocks to their walk with You. Give each husband peace and contentment when he thinks of his wife and family, and no rest when he is abandoning his wife and family. Thank you Father for working in each husband's life, all the praise and glory goes to You. We praise you Lord for bringing us all together, we praise and worship you to the highest. We love you with all our hearts, Lord. Thank You Jesus, for you are our rock, and our deliverer! Thank you for drawing us close to You and comforting us. In Jesus name we pray, AMEN.<BR>
