Met with Pastor this morning and shared the victory and insights we received this weekend, how awesome it was that the Lord was changing us and helping us to catch ourselves in negative patterns and adjusting or taking captive our thoughts.
Of course he was excited for us and then reminded me/us to be aware of the probable attacks in light of the victory and how we should make extra sure we have the full armor on and to be alert and to keep watch this week as the evil one likes to slip in when we aren't watching.
Eph 6:13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Father, as we revel in Your victory this weekend in many of our hearts and we praise You for the lessons learned and the insights given, we ask for extra alertness this week to do battle with the enemy.
[14] Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, [15] and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. [16] In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. [17] Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
[18] And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
We thank you for this reminder, for the power of Your word and the wisdom in Your counsel. Be with every woman in this forum and reveal Yourself in a new way this week. Let those who have not yet claimed Your son as Lord and Savior do so, let those who are weary receive Your comfort and strength, let those who feel the hope that You have for them share that hope with one other person today. Let us be encouragers to those around us. Let us be beacons of light to those lurkers who have not yet gained confidence to post. Be the mighty physician today, cut away the dross of our lives that we are refined in Your likeness. IJN, Amen,.
SueB,
Spiritual armor is vital! God has given it to us to use not ignore. Helmet of Salvation protects our minds and our thought life, Breastplate of Righteousness protects our heart and all its desires, Belt of Truth keeps us from wandering into error, Gospel Shoes protects us from standing on anything but the Good News of Jesus Christ, Sword of the Spirit is our offensive weapon the powerful word of God. I believe that prayer is another part of our armor, it is offensive as well and powerful to the bringing down of strongholds as we bring things to the Throne of Grace.
As our husbands are bit by bit released from the bondage they have been in we must remember that the rooms of their lives will be swept clean and need to be filled with the fulness of God. Getting rid of the junk is one thing but then it must be filled with the Spirit.
Lord, keep on cleaning the many rooms of our husbands lives, but when You are done may the rooms be filled with Your presence and power. Shed Your light in every dark corner and crevice and bring deliverance and wholeness. We as wives stand dressed for battle in Your armor, use us as You would to free our h's from bondage. IJN

Then it says, `I will return to the house I left.' [25] When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. [26] Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first."
Thanks for the reminder Taj! Sometimes we get so ferverent in our sweeping the dust away (specific prayers), we forget this.
