My roommate from college, and friend for 29 years just found out she has breast cancer. They are recommending a mascectomy and maybe of both breasts. She is going for a second opinion. Along with her divorce just a little over a year ago she feels pretty cheated. She even wondered what she did so wrong for this to happen. We've all been there, if not the same circumstances, then feeling like life has let us down. Even with knowing Christ I know we have all felt that way. So could you please pray as you feel led. I believe she knows Jesus. She talks about others praying over her at some youth camps shes worked at. Thanks.

Oh hw, I am so sorry to hear this. I will be praying for her. I'm glad to hear she will be getting a second opinion though. One of my closest friends went through this about a year and a half ago, then after she started recovering from the cancer surgery, her "dear" husband of 20 years threw her out, left her basically destitute, with no insurance, huge bills, etc. and moved his honey in with him. She's now divorced and trying to pull her life together. The worst part is, she DOESN'T know Jesus. <P>
