Got busy this afternoon and got the outdoor Christmas lights up. That has picked up my spirits ! I'm not much of a holiday person anyhow, too much chaos and stress, well maybe not this year!
Stbx called last night and actually talked to me. She wants to come by Tues and get some Christmas decorations for her(their?) apt. She had told me before that she wasn't going to, but looks like she changed her mind again ! She said she would take what I am not using, so I guess she is not planning on decorating my house. Although I may have told (screamed at)her last week that she wasn't so me and the kids will be doing that.
She even said she was going to bake cookies for the kids. I told her I already bought Pillsbury stuff to make with the kids. She just said she would make more.

Next Sat is our sons 9th birthday, so we'll have to spend a few hours together at his party. Her parents are coming and staying with me I guess.
I spoke to my daughter the other nite about the New Years Eve party and she still wants her mother to come or she isn't. I told her she has the choice to stay at her mother's apartment, that while I wasn't planning to invite her she could come around midnight. I tried gently to explain that if her mother was working as she was supposed too she wouldn't see her. I also asked her if I should invite om too, nont saying that if he were available they would be going out.
My daughter then asked if I would make an appointment for her to see the counselor. So maybe that will spark something to get me out of the middle of this.

RWD-Good for you! You don't need to be between the mother and her child and their relationship should not be on your shoulders! I applaud all you are doing and I think it's great that you are taking care of things so well! It's an excellent idea to get family sessions so the kids have a better way of communicating with your wife, maybe you would have a better chance of having a peaceful holiday! God Bless!
------------------
Chick's
Bren
You won't see things until your ready to not be blind!
