Lets get things posted for prayer!!!
I really want to concentrate prayer on learning to communicate to my husband in a way that is clear, understandable to him, and doesn't feel like I'm attacking...I have discovered that this is how he feels if I share with him any dissatisfactions I have..
It makes me withhold from speaking out and I have to really get a handle on this issue if we are to resolve anything in our marriage!
Lately my prayers are like: Dear Jesus, <Groan> you know it all, just be with me and flow through me! Amen
------------------
Jesus is the only answer!
His blessings, Cozy

{{{{{{Cozy}}}}}!!!!
All I can do is laugh for it sounds like me. The part in chapter one where she is arguing with the Lord about her husband was so like me! You see him? You see yourself....? Sigh.
I am finding articulate prayers are important. What would it look like if you said exactly what you wanted to say? How does he perceive it or what does he say would be a better way for him to hear what you want to say without feeling threatened or persecuted by your words? Those are the kind of questions I am asking my husband and then I am asking the Lord for wisdom and insight to catch myself when things do not come out like he has described.
I hate having to be the one who always has to change! Can you see why I may never get out of this chapter?

Hello........
I would love to get the study guide...Where can I find one?? at a christian bookstore???
I'm going through the affair thing( my H and op)... I've Talked with Steve Harley several times and he really inspires.. eventhough I have at times felt like throwing plan A out the window ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
I feel that I need prayers to join my heart with my H's that he start to see me in a different light( have those feelings for me again) and that the lord put a HUGE wedge inbetween the two of them... That he send messages to my H when he is sleeping, and provide clarity to his mind.. I have also put myself in the Lords hands.. that he guide me in a very loving way, but alos to guide me to do what he wants me to do....
I would love to join everyone for the study group... Just let me know the "in's and outs"
Thanks......s
Husbands, love your wives..even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it....Ephesians5:25

Scoick, It would be great if you could study with us! The book has been so helpful to us in our situations. These ladies in this Study Group are so kind, and encouraging.
You can get POPW at most any Christian Bookstore, I know Family Christian Stores carry it. I got my POPW and Study Guide from Amazon.com ($7.99 for POPW, $4.99 for SG). The Study Guide goes over each chapter of the POPW book in depth. We're taking two questions a day from the Study Guide and posting our answers here and discussing.
Actually even if you only have POPW you can still read the chapter and answer the questions. We post the questions on this forum and answer them here.
Usually on Mondays we post an update to our situation, and our weekly prayer request. On Tuesday nights at 11:00 EST, we pray together in agreement for each request. Not every one is able to be available at that time to pray, but all are welcome to pray. It has been very uplifting and a blessing to pray together.
The Study Guide questions 1 - 4 for Chapter One - His Wife are posted, feel free to make comments etc., or add your own answers. So glad you're here!!!
AW
