Well TNT, maybe it was me. I read this post yesterday, thought "nah, I'm doin' GREAT with forgiveness".
Guard & I had a discussion last night and he said one of the greatest hurts I had done him was ask him to leave the room when the phone rang, and I thought it might be the OM. He thinks that is "worse" than the 7 times I begged him not to leave me & the kids, the 18 month affair...no he never asked me to leave a room, but he moved away.
And I had the thought, "he can't forgive ME? Look what he has done!" And raging unforgiveness just shook me for a moment...and your little post came to mind...I quieted, said a little inward "God? What's happening here?" And I listened to my H. And then he listened to me. The tones got a little intense, but no yelling or walking out.
Just wanted you to know one place where your sharing God's prompting led.
[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
------------------
Lor
"Let love be genuine...hold fast to what is good; love one another." Rom 12:9-10
