I don't think my H has used my name more than once or twice since he left. The OW's real name, though not nickname, is the same as mine. My son informed me tonight that when my H mentions me to her, he refers to me by my initials!
It feels like she has stolen not only my H, but a piece of my identity.

Nellie1,
NO ONE can steal any part of you - I wonder if your H is trying to DENY you exist so he doesn't have to deal with all this right now???
Roll Me Away
------------------
"Life is made up, not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things in which smiles and kindnesses and small obligations, given habitually, are what win and preserve the heart and secure comfort."
Sir Humphry Davy
Nellie1- You need to separate yourself from your H and his attitude. It's difficult at best but this is him and you are you. Don't lower yourself to this level-so what, he is so guilt ridden that he can't even say your name. You are bigger than he is and you know the truth, you know that your ok even without him saying your name, you are a thought he can't get rid of ever, he has to face it and one day he will, sooner or later!
God Bless!
------------------
Chick's
Bren
You won't see things until your ready to not be blind!

Nellie, your husband sounds like the jerk mine was a year ago. He has turned 360, although he hasn't mentioned an actual reconciliation. There is no reason not to be treated as a civil human being. Like I told my H one time when he was being a total jerk -- treat me like you would anybody else on the street. Don't treat me like crap just because I'm me. Like I said -- he is really being a jerk.
Roll Me Away,
Yes, I think he is trying to deny that I ever existed.
chick's,
If I were sure that some day he would realize what he has done, I would feel a little better, but I fear that he is going to go to his dying day thinking blaming me for everything.
Janie,
How long did it take your H to improve, even slightly? My H has been getting worse and worse over the past few months.
