I love this one because it reminds me of how the evil one lurks to toss doubt in.
PS 77:1 I cried out to God for help;
I cried out to God to hear me.
PS 77:2 When I was in distress, I sought the Lord;
at night I stretched out untiring hands
and my soul refused to be comforted.
PS 77:3 I remembered you, O God, and I groaned;
I mused, and my spirit grew faint.
Selah
PS 77:4 You kept my eyes from closing;
I was too troubled to speak.
PS 77:5 I thought about the former days,
the years of long ago;
PS 77:6 I remembered my songs in the night.
My heart mused and my spirit inquired:
PS 77:7 "Will the Lord reject forever?
Will he never show his favor again?
PS 77:8 Has his unfailing love vanished forever?
Has his promise failed for all time?
PS 77:9 Has God forgotten to be merciful?
Has he in anger withheld his compassion?"
Selah
PS 77:10 Then I thought, "To this I will appeal:
the years of the right hand of the Most High."
PS 77:11 I will remember the deeds of the LORD;
yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
PS 77:12 I will meditate on all your works
and consider all your mighty deeds.
PS 77:13 Your ways, O God, are holy.
What god is so great as our God?
PS 77:14 You are the God who performs miracles;
you display your power among the peoples.
PS 77:15 With your mighty arm you redeemed your people,
the descendants of Jacob and Joseph.
Selah
PS 77:16 The waters saw you, O God,
the waters saw you and writhed;
the very depths were convulsed.
PS 77:17 The clouds poured down water,
the skies resounded with thunder;
your arrows flashed back and forth.
PS 77:18 Your thunder was heard in the whirlwind,
your lightning lit up the world;
the earth trembled and quaked.
PS 77:19 Your path led through the sea,
your way through the mighty waters,
though your footprints were not seen.
PS 77:20 You led your people like a flock
by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Father, as you lead Moses and Aaron, lead us. Thanks Sue!
This is just where I was last week. Struggling so against the enemy but remembering that God is there but at times not feeling I could get back thee. The enemy does so try to blind us. Think if he can blind us momentarily, us who try to stay with Him and read His word, what is it like for our spouses that have been gone for many days. Kind of gives you a picture of the warfare we are up against. Praise the Lord, for revealing this to us, meaning Lord we must turn to You to fight this battle for this is beyond us. But our battle orders are to believe that God san accomplish what He says He can and to be the infantry in prayer and praises to our God. Thank You Father, for being there always, non-stop. In Jesus name, Amen.
Thanks Sue for sharing this. I am going to read it and contemplate on it during my time with the Lord today.

Dear Sue,
You are such a pillar of faith! I am always inspired and strengthened by each of your posts. Especially the personal ones.
By the way, how did the rest of the weekend go? Did you send the kids home for their own protection? That would be a wonderful and powerful statement! I see you are still planning the Matt 18 intervention. Did you find some loving brothers to come and participate?
How about secular counseling? If spiritual counseling is not helping is there any way he would help you get help by participating in therapy that can provide him with a reality check?
I will pray for you to have the strength to follow through and be blessed to get the right people for support in this.
