Since it looks like David will be in CA for a while, I am flying out there for the weekend. I thank the Lord for working out the details..... I was able to find a very low cost airfare, inexpensive car rental, but am still looking for a hotel room (he didn't think it would be a good idea for us to share the travel trailer with his work buddies). <P>I am praising God for all this! I still have to make some arrangements for my son. He has several friends that live close by so I am hoping one of them will let him stay overnight. Please pray that this too works out. <P>I'm praying that the Lord is present constantly while I am there, causing us to become closer, bringing healing to our marriage. Father, we thank you so much for this gift of time that Rootbeer and David will be sharing this weekend. We thank you that go before and behind then and already have all details worked out for their time together. Father, bless this time please and use it to glorify yourself.<P>Father, give Rootbeer 20/20 hearing this weekend and calmness of spirit that enables her to hear your voice, give her a steadfastness that allows her to quickly obey when you give her insight. Help her to pursue David with the love that you have for both of them, to sidestep any unwisely spoken comments and to remember who she is in you, that if she does hear anything that previously hurt her, she can immediately rebuke the lie and not personalize anything that does not fit your criteria of who she is in you. Help her to let go of the past, to realize that her husband is here and now with her, no matter what happened previously and her confidence should bank on that truth. Help her to be the kind of wife, David would be proud of, especially in front of his peers and nudge his heart to not place his wife in any uncompromising positions so that she can remain true to him at all times. Increase his tenderness Father and break down his bariers that he can show his wife how much he loves her. Let this time be full of renewing hope for the both of them. Let Rootbeer show him her undying support for the way he provides for her even if it means that he has to be away from her.
