Father,<BR>We come before you in prayer and awe of You Lord. You are God and let us be still before You. Let us acknowledge Your majesty, power, great love and grace. Lord help us this day to truly seek You with all our hearts and let our lives reflect the joy and grace as a result. Lord change each one of us. Meet us where each of us are and break down any strongholds that keep us enslaved to sin, create in us the desire to come before You and surrender our idols, creat in us new hearts after Jesus heart, let us love others as You have loved us as a testimony to Your great love.<P>Lord there are many hurting women and men on the forums here. Lord, I lift up those spouses that are hurting becaue their spouse has left them, is having an affair, is addicted, abusive or blinded by sin. Lord give them comfort, call them to seek You with all their hearts. <P>Break the strongholds in the wayward spouses. Give these marriages reconcilliation according to Your great power, will and grace. Let the healed marriages be a testimony to the kind of God You are. Let us praise You with singing and shouts of joy.<P>Lord, we bow before you and we lay our sins at Your feet. Shine the light of Your SOn on our souls. Expose our hidden sins so we may repent and be healed. Let us praise You for the everyday gifts as well as the extrodinary.<P>Lord, let us stand on Your promises. You are sovereign and our circumstances have been allowed. Lord we know You are still in them. Reveal Your promises to us so we may stand on Your firm foundation. Promises to work all for good. Promises that you never desert us or forsake us. Promises that You forgive and even rescue us bringing us back. Promises to meet us when we seek you and that You meet us where we are at. Promises that nothing is too difficult for You, that all things are possible with You. Promises that we won't be tempted beyond what we can bear. Promises that You have plans to prosper us and give us hope and a future.<P>Lord, let us recall these promises during trials and focus on them and view our circumstances through these promises and the knowledge that You never change and can therefore be trusted to work for our good only.<P>Father meet each of us where we are at. Lead us to the place You have designed for us. Help us to change and to become more like Your SOn. Help us to be an encouragement to each other and not stumbling blocks to others. Let us think of others greater than our selves. <P>LOrd, bring those spouses that do not know Jesus to saving relationships with HIm. Put Godly men and women in their paths. Instruct their hearts. Grant an annointing of Your Holy Spirit in them that He so breaks through the cracks in the hard hearts and softens them toward You. Let Your Word rise up powerfully within them. Let the gospel of Jesus Christ flood their hearts, and minds. Take every thought captive to the truth of Jesus. Let them so desire to read Your word and seek Your truth. Let them seek You for You alone.<P>Lord there are many that come and read but do not post. You know their needs, touch them and bring them peace and healing.<P>For carol we praise You for the conference she was able to attend. She is thankful for her h's kindness and for her opportunity to lead the women's prayer circle. Put Christian men in her h's path. Let the love of Jesus invade his heart. Turn this h's heart toward home and restore love in his heart for his wife. Give Carol the strength to keep loving him and call her to seek YOu with all her heart.<P>for lonesome, we pray for wisdom and strength from You, Lord. My health is still deteriorating, but I feel happy and terrific, probably from all the prayers that have included me. My due date isn't until December 2, but my size looks "due any day" with all the excess waters. Plenty of energy around the still-tolerable-for-now discomforts. Thanks everyone for your prayers. I am so encouraged this morning with the essence of the new posts and the desire of so many to following Christ.<P>Karenna, thanks for your uplifting words. I am truly a "watchdog for the Word". It is my meat and drink and I know I am often harsh in my zeal. For me the Word of God has been the only way for many years and I sometimes just want so desperately for others to see.<P>I have often been convicted of trying to do the Holy Spirits work. Please forgive me when my zeal comes across as a lack of love and compassion.<P>I respect so deeply the women and men on this forum who are trying so desperately to honor God in their lives and their marriages.<P>This forum is meant to build us up in confidence and lead us in a positive direction.
