We had our dinner date, and all was good, only a few minor lb's we both were working hard at not getting into anything deep. However I drank too much wine, and after we got home I became very sick. So he was putting cold water on my face
and lyed on the bed with me till I fell asleep. I am so ashamed and embarassed, why do I do what I don't want to do. I did what I condemn him for (drinking) I think I thought a few drinks would help me relax and be the girl he loved before, I got carried away I have aploogized to him and to God. Nothing seems to have changed in a negative way, however, I might have missed a chance to make things better. Please pray God gives me another chance

Oh my sister, so sorry for your fro pah, but God knows your heart. Again verbalize the appreciation that hubby was there to care for you and begin anew. Turn it into something funny that the two of you will be able to laugh about, the humanness of Carole... talk about the good part of the evening, things the two of you can smile about.
Dig into the part that was the motivation thing. Tell me what Carole was like when her hubby fell in love with her. Have you ever asked him what it was about you that he fell in love with you before? Your perception and his may be very different. Might give you some insight into him. The fact that he even invited you out is still something that cannot be diminished. Keep growing, forgive yourself and go on learning! Love you!
