Hello all,<P>I just started reading "The Power of a Wifes Prayer" a couple of days ago and some one recomended I join the biblestudy, so here goes. but I'm new at this online stuff, so what do I do. what are we studying Exactly. <P>------------------<BR>Scared and lonely

scared and lonely<BR>what is done is we post the questions and our answers, or just read and do them on our own, and comment about it here. I havn't seen anyone post the questions in awhile, do you have the workbook? I am on chapt. 19, I do it alone, I would be happy to post chapt one again with my responses, a review would be good for me. Let me know if you want me to do that. we also pray on tues night from 9pm-10pm either on or offline. HW does a beautiful job of condensing all our request into a prayer. So post your requests and prayers, vent when you need too, WELCOME

If you don't mind the review I would greatly appreciate it. It will be nice to get some feed back and someone elses insight since everybody doesn't necessarily get the same things out of the same books I am on chapter 3 but If you could go back to chapter 1 that would be great. thier was a lot to digest in chapter one and I think I'm still processing some of it. <P>My prayer request: That God does a mircle in my marriage and me!<P>------------------<BR>Scared and lonely

scared and lonely,<P>Great prayer and I believe that He can. However, it may or may not happen immediately. I have been waiting for my miracle for 5+ years, but I have seen great evidence of God working. It could still be a slow process though.<P>God has shown me the main thing He wants me to do is to seek Him with all my heart and soul. To seek Him as much as I want to pursue my marriage. To seek Him as much as I express that I want my h and marriage back. Then He wants me to stay out of it and let Him work in my husband's life and our marriage. It is not easy, but as I have really begun to seek Him and God has revealed what that means, I have seen great changes in myself. I feel more confident and peaceful a larger majority of the time. I have also made it a concerted effort to praise the Lord for everything. Some days are easier than others on this. <P>So praying with all your heart, praising the Lord, reading His word and the willingness to let Him do the work has what He has shown me.<P>There are two other topics that we have all been contemplating, "Boundaries and Marriage," the Cloud and Townsend study and just sharing what seeking Him means to everyone. <P>I bet we all could use the review of chapter one of POPW. If I can I will bring the old thread up to the top so you can see the former discussion. Glad you've joined us.

I for one would be delighted to discuss anew the POPW.<P>Hopefully you have had a chance to read the thoughts many of us have posted on Chap. 1....hw pulled it up for you.<P>Now just post any thought you have or ways you feel God is speaking to you. Then others will just join in with their thoughts.<P>Chap. 1 is pretty hard to get away from. I know I have probably read it more times then I can count. God always makes changes in things by starting with us. It is a real eye-opener when the Holy Spirit begins to show you things from a godly perspective as opposed to our perspective.<P>Again, welcome and just jump in and get your feet wet!<P>Lord, I too pray that You will perform a miracle in this women's marriage and in all of our marriages. You are a creative God and you create miracles continually, work out each of our situations for Your glory and use us as You see fit. Whatever the needs of Scared and lonely today Father meet them. Hello Sisters in Christ, I too am new to this message board thing. I have not yet gotten the book, stopped at our local library and it wasn't available. Need to run to town, 30 minutes away, to shop. I desperately need to learn from all of you as I too am standing for my marriage. I've been reading the posts for a couple of weeks now and this is the forum I feel led to. I don't understand all of the symbols and such, so if I am a little slow, bear with me. I know I'll understand eventually! I have been separated for 20 months but this has been a period of growth for me. I had to hit rock bottom before I let God start to heal and lead me. Now I pray for the same for all of you and our husbands. I thank God for all of you and Praise His Holy Name. LAP
