In a post a while back, you asked about crying hard, and what it was for. A knowledgeable friend at my boundaries class told me it is just as beneficial for women to cry as it is for men to hit a punching bag. It releases tension, causing a feeling of relaxing. I have also read that endorphins are released into the blood stream
to fight depression. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. I think I would find a punching bag helpful too. I am having a pretty good day today, feel God's presence and am joyful in my not so pleasant situation.
Accepting my cross so to speak.......God is telling me to wait..........so I will. amen

Release endophins eh? Sigh, only God could make us just so! Thank you my sister for the info. I think I would rather punch the bag too! Built my house in Washington that way, pounded nails. By the time the house was done, I wasn't mad any more. No house to build here...
Leave at 7AM EST. Flying is not a fun thing for me, suspect it is trusting the control to someone else to do the flying...pray please.
Will check back when I get there.

I thank-you also for the information.
Now I won't feel quite so quilty about crying now that I know it is somewhat bennificial. Besides I usually do feel better after a good cry when I've had an off day.
------------------
Irene

Crying also reduces your short term risk of getting a cold, or so I read in the paper about five years ago. The stress and tension release is good for your immune system, and the fluid release washes out germs and toxins from the upper respiratory system quite efficiently.

I always like to remember when the tears flow that the word of God says God "puts my tears in a bottle". Psalm 56:8
God must think they are pretty important too if He saves them.
Blessings, Taj
