If you have read my post from Friday you know that my H wanted me to agree to him taking our son to meet OW. I didn't agree and I felt that I had lost him for sure because of it. Well, he left me a voice mail message and it was so beautiful, I wrote it down word for word.
"Hey Vik, it's just me. I just left a message at the house. I was just trying to get ahold of you. I wanted to talk to you. I was worried about ya, thinkin about ya, and all that good stuff. And I just figured I'd get ahold of you and see what you were up to and see that you're ok. Um, I guess if you're ok, just give me a page and if I get a chance I'll call ya back, if not I'll talk to you tomorrow. And don't forget that I love you."
It was the most beautiful thing I have heard from him in a long time. He admitted to me that he is afraid of me. He's afraid that I will get sick again and that all these changes aren't to stay. I'm trying not to get my hopes up. As I learned Friday, things can change so quickly. But I really wanted to share this with you.
------------------
To Thine Own Self Be True
A.K.A.
PondVJ

Viki, that is a nice message. I really think for those of us with H's that want to continually walk that fence that it is important to stand up to them on vital issues. However, how to do it successfully without lovebusters--respectfully without anger is really tough. From your H's response, I would guess that you did it very well.
You go, Girl.
