In my pre-thanksgiving post, I was expressing my thankfulness for our heavenly Father's love and mercy. Little did I know how thankful I would be after the holiday. I went to the wedding with H and although their were a few rough places with H, all went well. As I was returning home, I had a blowout on the freeway and totaled my car. As I climbed out of the car, I felt that God had protected me. I hit a cement barrier at 65 miles per hour and ended up parked on top of the divider. The car was a total loss, but I came out of it with some very minor sore muscles and not a scratch otherwise. I called H after arriving home and told him I had totaled my car. He drove over immediately. On his way, he stopped and looked at the car. It was a mess. His first words to me were, I am so glad you weren't killed. Looking at the pictures of my wrecked car, the only explanation is that God had his hand on me. I was able to avoid hitting the car next to me(barely) and am still suffering a little shock, but I am so very thankful that God is in control and looking out for us.

onedayatatime,
i am so very glad you are all right also. What an amazing story if not scary, and yet without a scratch. It is indeed good to praise the Lord, for His goodness, mercy and protection.
Praise Him, for He is a great and mighty God, able to protect us from our enemies. He is the God who loves us unconditionally forever. Nothing can take His place in our lives. In Jesus name we praise and thank You, Amen.
