Father God,
How great is Your love for us. Lord You are a God whose promises can be trusted. Lord You can not lie:
"...God did this so that, by two unchangeble things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. " (Hebrews 6:18-19)
I love that Oh, Lord You are an anchor for the soul. The soul is held firm and secure in You. Wow!!
Lord we praise You for Your assurance, Your unfailing love, Your unchanging character, Your provisions that are new each day.
Lord how is it we get so lost sometimes or down. We have a great assurance that You do keep Your promises. Lord, YOu cannot change "I the Lord do not change!" (Malachi 3:6)
Father touch each of us where we are and take us to where You want us to be.
Lord let us examine our hearts in this new year.
"Lord, search us and know and know our hearts; test us and know our anxious thoughts. See if there be any offensive way in us, and lead us in Thy way everlasting."
(Psalm 139:23-24)
"Create in us a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within us. " (Psalm 51:10)
"may the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts be pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, our Rock and our Redeemer." (Psalm 19:14)
Lord, we are all tethered to something. Lord let us examine those things that bind us and let us untangle ourselves from those things that are not of You or from the things that we cling to over YOu. Lord let us cling to You and find ourselves tethered only to YOu.
Father, I pray that You send Your warring angels to fight the battles for our minds. Lord, many are weary as they examine their hearts in Your light. Lord renew them and refresh them. Let them rest completely in You.
"We trust in You. We will be glad and rejoice in Your love. For You saw our affliction and knew the anguish of our souls." (Psalm 31:6-7)
"Into Your hands we commit our spirits; redeem us, O Lord, the God of truth."
(Psalm 31:5)
"Be strong and take heart all you who hope in the Lord." (Psalm 31:24)
Lord I lift up Sue to You. Father renew her in You, in Your great mercy, grace, love giving her hope, strength and compassion. Allow her to speak the truth with Your love. Give her emotional resilience. Lord we lift up her son and we ask that You lay healing hands upon him and cure his cancer. Lord we praise You for the great strides he is making in his walk with You. Let Christ dwell in Sue's heart. Lord touch her h and continue to make him accountable for himself and to draw him closer into relationship with You.
For aw Lord we ask that You too renew her in Your love, grace, mercy and give her new hope, peace, and love. Lord touch her h and bring him to the end of his drinking. Lord make him sick and cause him to cry out to You. Lord let no harsh word or curse come from his mouth that would be directed toward aw. Lord heal the broken relationships his drinking has caused.
For S & L Lord bring healing to old and current wounds. We praise YOu for the work that You are doing in her. We praise You that she is learning to care for her self, making her body strong to hold Your Holy Spirit. Lord speak to her h and draw him to You. Lord provide for her.
For lonesome Lord we lift her up and ask that You answer the questions she has on her heart and touch her h in the way You need to,
Lord we praise You for the miraculous safety of survivor's h from the head on collision. Use this to draw him closer to You and his wife.
For my h bring associates into his path that can speak truth in love about his situation. Lord keep nagging him in the back of his head giving him no peace about his current situation and that You are there waiting for him to return to You.
Lord we lift the requests of every women here, whose requests are not written. You know the desires of our hearts and You know the plans You have for us. In all things Lord let our wills be Thy will for each od us. Let us search You out to be our perfect husbands and heal our hearts and emotions making us available emotionally in all our relationships.
Lord, You are our perfect love, the object of our faith, the anschor os our souls, the hope for all mankind. Lord, write Your word in our hearts. Let us each search Your word more diligently and come to know You even better. Lord in all our ways let us acknowledge Your truth and let us not lean on our own understanding of anything. For You are able to work in ways we cannot even imagine and to work all things for good. Lord let us seek You seeking us... In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you hw for remembering me in your prayers. I continue to be plagued with exhaustion and uncertainty. I am grateful for my time alone (3 weeks now). I still feel trapped in mental quicksand. I listen to the Christian radio station, visit MB perhaps a little too much, and read the Bible not nearly enough. I pray about my future, but I still attach expectations to how I want my prayers answered. I still have a lot to learn I guess, and I'm eternally grateful for this forum for all the help and support I find here.

lonesome,
i know exactly what you mean. I have really been convicted to read the Bible more, the enemy is dabbling with me, in that I get so easilt distracted. I know I have to ask fr help and then "rise up and obey" It takes discipline for me at first.
Also during Christmas and after i found myself more down than usual. I have been on a mild dose of antidepressants for about a year. So i talked to the Dr. and he upped the dosage a little. Since yesterday I think the increase has kicked in, I feel so much better. I was starting to loose interrest in everything again, crying deep sobs and eating more, with some sleep disturbance.
As a student in the mental health field, you'd think I'd know better, but sometimes i think we deny it even more. I'm glad it finally sunk in for me.
Praising is also something that I find extremely beneficial. When I can praise even if it means reading the Psalms that are full of praise i feel so much better and closer to God. "God inhabits our praises"
I'll keep praying for you.

Talked with my son today. His appt turned out to be just an informative thing mainly.
They are going to do a bunch of tests over the next couple of weeks to see what stage his cancer is in. Probably at least stage two, he thinks. They just took some blood today. He goes in tomorrow and Friday for CT scans. Tomorrow is for neck and chest scans, and Friday is a contrast scan of his abdomen and pelvis. Then next week they'll take a bone marrow sample from his hip. Then, depending on how all that goes, he may have to have injections into his lymphatic system through the space between his big toe
and little toe on both feet and then get another scan. What stage it's in
will determine whether or not he has to do chemotherapy, where they do radiation therapy, and how much therapy he will need.
Also, my son also came clean that his wife has left him and they are divorcing. They have been together since they were 15 years old. Breaks my heart. So please keep my son in prayer. Thanks ladies!
Abba, Father,
We lift Sue's son up into YOur healing arms. Lord You know the plans You have for her son. Lord let us turn him, his health and his marriage over to You. You are the healer of all things. I praise You and thank You that You never leave us or abandon us. You love us so much and are so patient with us. Praise You, Father.
Father keep Sue close to You as she examines herself in Your light. Lord give her Your strength and increase her faith.
