Tried to get on line to say post your requests and I will pray on Wed evening. But since today is Valentine's Day, a not so joyous day for some of us, unless we remember our true Valentine: Jesus. He loves us more than any man ever could. He is the only man I know that would die for me. Many could say they might in the name of love, but He has already done so and proved Himself worthy. So lift up your thanks to your true Valentine, Jesus. <BR>Jesus, I thank You for Your true love demonstrated to me on the cross. No one else would do such a thing for me. I love You too Jesus, no other will have my greater love. Thank You.

Jesus my savior, thank you so much for your forever faithful love. You love me with the most pure and caring love, even though I dont deserve such grace. I know that you will never forsake me or leave me. You stand strong beside me and guide my feet toward a path that seeks your heart. Thank you for living within me and showering my life with your wonderful blessings and love. Thank you for the peace that you bring unto me at my most darkest times. Thank you for listening to my plees and for shining the light of your wisdom upon me through those around me and from within through your Holy Spirit. You teach me about your love every day in my life. You teach me about myself and how I can better love others through your example and your word. Thank you for being there for me. Thank you for your gift and for the love you give to me so freely. I Love You. Amen

Amen. 1 Peter 5:10-11<P><BR>Father, we lift up these verses of Your word to restore our souls and for those spouses that are wandering in the far land.Lord touch each wayward spouse and cause their hearts to light on fire for the God they once so loved. For those that do not know Jesus, let them see His eternal glory this day. Lord let them come fully into the knowledge of Jesus Christ, turning their hearts to new things, renewed in Christ. Lord, protect them from the enemy. Lord in the name of Jesus Crist we take back our spouses from the enemy not by our authority but through the authority given us by the power of Jesus blood shed on the cross. Lord free them from their bondage of sin. Lord free them from all addictions. Lord turn their eyes upon jesus. Lord and them restore them to the spouse of their youth.<P>Lord touch each of our hearts deeply today in loving You. Lord let our hearts be light and long to dwell with You.<BR>Lord we are grateful for Your mercy which is new every morning, for Your gift of grace, for our husbands and wives, for Your glorious creation that we have the priviledge of living within. In Jesus name, Amen.<P> This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us, And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. hw,<BR>Each and every one of the scriptures you quoted touched my heart this morning. Renewing and refreshing my spirit for the day. Thank You. There really is hope in Christ isn't there. Hope, knowing that even though we may not understand the path that we are on, God is in control and is faithful to bring us into fellowship with him through all. Underneath all of the pain and confusion of our circumstances is the victory, the victory through a rich and abundant fellowship with our Lord. Peace through his undying love and understanding and forgiveness. He is faithful to teach us how to be closer to him. Faithful to teach us how to experience his true love. What a gift that we receive from him. He loves us with a pure and faithful love, all the while maintaining boundaries and consequences to teach us how to love ourselves and others and ultimately be in closer fellowship with him. God is mighty yet full of grace. I love knowing him. <P>If anyone is interested, I would love to maybe do a study thread on these verses. <P>...but have not love, I gain nothing.<BR>Love is patient, love is kind. But the greatest of these is love.<P>Each of these attributes is something that I desperately need to contemplate and implement more deeply in my heart and in my life. I know that many times my behavior reflects attitudes and thoughts that are exactly contrary to what God has given us here. I want to learn how to walk this walk and live with this Godly love in my life. Each of these is contrary to what our fleshly spirit produces and I want to overcome that way of life and dye to the flesh so that I can be closer to him and those that I love. Just an idea about the thread.<P>Father, thank you for the strength and hope that you have given us today. Thank you for blessing our lives with your guidance and love. You are a bright and brilliant light in a world of darkness. My spirit cries out to you and you are always there. You restore us unto you through Christ even though we are rebellious and disobedient to you and your will. You make us joint heirs to your kingdom though we act as robbers and thieves. sadwings,<P>I think a set of verses that go with these are, from Philippians 4. These verses below I think show us how to change our minds so we can accomplish 1 Corinthians 13:13.<P> Therefore, my brothers, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, that is how you should stand firm in the Lord, dear friends!...<P> Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. Whatever you have learned or reseived from me, or seen in me-put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. <BR> (Philippians 4:1, 8-9)<P>I think it points to those things we are in control of. If we are not in control of what we think on, then I believe that is where we need to work. I know for me when I mindfully think on true, pure things and praise God I am so much better. Reading God's word and praising the Lord are the best thinkgs I can do to help me keep my eyes fixed on Jesus and not on the circumstances.<P>I have to run, I think your idea of a thread on the verses is a good one.
