Oh my Gosh, Sheryl, that is JUST TERRIBLE! It takes someone else's problems to be bigger than my own before I can get a perspective! Oh, I am soooo sorry!
Lord, Heavenly Father! Oh, Lord. Please understand that we really believe this is a serious serious issue! Lord, if this family does not have help soon, it will be destroyed because of political laws! Lord, this poor man cannot see the light of day without your intervention! Please Lord, hear our prayers and please Lord - send help! Lots of help, Father! Surround this family with your angels, and put a hedge about them that political laws would not destroy them! And Father, I pray that you would offer MERCY for this poor man and his wife, that they would be able to afford to be a family! Father, I pray that you would give FAITH to Sheryl and her husband so that they would not be immobilized! Father, I pray this in Jesus Name! Father, please provide a way out of this for Sheryl and her family. Father, I pray that the holiday season would not be overshadowed by news of gloom and doom, but that it would be filled with hope - hope for a future! Father, provide us with an opportunity to bring help to Sheryl and her family, Father, I pray this in Jesus Holy Name! Amen!

Oh, it is so frustrating when I write a heartfelt response and have it **poof** away (by logging me out ) when I try to submit it. Sheesh.
TnT, thank you for your prayerful reply, and I could feel your prayers way over here.
I am feeling better this morning -- a result of counseling last night, where my H and I both went (it's turning into couples counseling more than individual, but that's okay with me)... we did discuss this situation, and then the situation with my ex, which has been very difficult lately (he misses me, plays me like a fiddle, knows my weak spot and goes for it)...
The therapist gave us both some strategies to cope, and we have a few weeks to impliment them.
Now, I keep thinking that God is expecting me to look UP from the hole we are in, and I'm trying... I can't help but be a bit disappointed, because just when I think it can't be worse, it gets worse. But... I am trying to take deep breaths, realize that God is not the author of confusion, and go forward.
Keep praying please, and thank you...
It does feel better not to be soooo down.
Love, Sheryl

Hi Sam,
Thank you so much for your reply. Yes, weekends are tough. This weekend we're deep in conversation about how I'm gonna get to CA for Christmas. Lots to consider...
Love you sooooooo much too!
If anyone is still reading, please pray for my middle daughter, who is having a health concern. I'm worried, and mostly, I'm not there, and I wish I could hold her hand. Pray that Jesus can hold her hand for me.
Thank you...

Nyneve,
Prayer going out for your daughter.
Lord, we rebuke the Enemy and his ailments from this child in Jesus name. We ask for healing, health and wellbeing for her. And for her to feel her mother's love and concern surround her as do the arms of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Greetings!
Lord, I lift up Nyneve to you. You know her heart. You know her needs. Lord, you know how to cradle her in your strength and soothe and calm her. Lord, speak to her heart. Lord, speak to her spirit. Grant her peace. Strengthen her with grace. Pour out your spirit upon her. Breath upon her. Grant her your peace and show her your love. Let her feel nestled in your care. Show her Lord your will and your ways. Convince her fully that you care for her and that you will provide. Bring health and healing to her daughter, also, I pray. Garrison her mind with peace... and let her enemies be scattered. RAise her up, Lord, above every effort of the enemy. Infuse her with spiritual power from on high... rich in grace, love, and glory in the Lord Jesus Christ. Remind her of her salvation. Restore unto her, Lord, the joy of her salvation. Bring her strength, healing, peace, love, joy, hope, and comfort this holiday season. Bless her and hers. Show her the way and strengthen her to walk therein. Draw her to your Word and engraft your word, Lord, into her heart and life. Strengthen her, Lord, to walk in your ways and grant her peace. Peace. Peace. Peace. Peace be still to her soul.
In Jesus' name,
With love in Christ,
Laura

Thank you so much for the prayer, Laura.
Things are still going along, and basically still the same, except for the added wrinkle that I can't see my family (my kids, mostly) for Christmas. I am very upset about that -- but for the most part, my attitude has changed somewhat.
There comes a time where being proactive is healthier than just sitting on my hiney waiting on God.
My faith and understanding of Jesus, as the Son of God, has never, and will never fade. But I think I had some things wrong before... and I'm in correction-mode.
I do seek the will of God... and yes, I seek PEACE, blessed peace.
Thank you Laura and all for your continued prayers and for the listening ear,
Love,
Sheryl
[ December 16, 2001: Message edited by: Nyneve ]
