Hi mostlyhurt,
Welcome to a very nurturing little corner of MB. Our number one book is the Bible, but we don't go through it like a study as such.
The book that started this off is Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian. The study of chapter one isn't too far down the list right now. The topic is Chapter 1 - His Wife started by POGP.
Our other favorite book is Boundaries in Marriage by Drs. Cloud and Townsend. I just bumped a thread for it up for you - Boundaries....SueB
Both books are absolutely necessary reading for any serious spiritual work on marriage improvement IMHO.
These older threads are a good start and will give you a feel for what is in the books, but I would urge to to get one or both as soon as possible. We may be able to get back to our old weekly on-line prayer meeting and regular studies too.
Both books are available on Amazon.com or your local Christian bookstore. I have had good luck with finding both at my neighborhood Barnes & Noble too.
[ January 06, 2002: Message edited by: Karenna ]
