This won't be one of my typical 'longies' ...
My H found out TODAY that the job he just got is late afternoons and graveyard shifts... so... 3pm-12am or 7pm-3am... ... and NO he DIDN'T KNOW!
So let's see... until we can move, he'll be on the road LONGER... which means that the 3 am's he's been working so far got him home AN HOUR EARLIER than this one will.
My H is upset, I'm upset... this is the only job he's been outright offered...
AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH that's me screaming, since I can't actually do it!!!!

Hi TnT and Lor,
Oh... sigh... I know... I "should" be comforted by the fact that he WILL be working... and heck, I guess I **am** somewhat... I know he needs to work... but this isn't about him... it's about me (like you didn't realize that - sheesh! I kill myself!! )... it's about me being alone at night in what will be a strange town... alone at night... gosh... do I get down to business and explain how David worked swing or graveyard shifts our entire marriage and how it caused so many problems for us... and how it was one of the things that I thought I'd never have to worry about again... I know, I know... be grateful... use the time wisely... I know...
Sigh.

Hi Seryl,
I am so sorry about this. They should have said something. Maybe he can still look for work at another company while working.
It is better to be working now than not. I know you already know this. I have no idea what it is like in Canada but here in the States the economy is really in a slump. I am so tired of the economist saying it will pull out. Do they not live in the real world?
I will pray that this is just a short time line that he has to work nights.
