I started reading this book last week, it is very powerful, I can feel an annointing on this woman, I believe in the power of prayer and I would like to hear from anyone else who has been reading this book. There is a companion study guide with it and it is great to use also, it makes you look at yourself.

I first read this book about 2 1/2 years ago. Just after I got married. The book helped me a lot being a new wife and all. I learned a lot of things about myself with the first chapter and so much more about my H. I still go back and read it about every 3-4 mos. It has just been such a blessing, although the only downfall for me was a few things came up concerning my H that I am still after 2 yrs triing to work through with him. Have you read any of the other Power books. I am reading The Power Of A Praying Woman now and I have grow a lot since I started. All of the books are wonderful.

I am new here. I went into a christian bookstore a week or two ago and happened to see the book on display. I read the cover but didn't buy the book. I can't remember how much it was, either. I did think about buying it seriously though.
If you can tell more about the book, I would appreciate it.

The book is awesome. I just started reading it last night, in desperation as I try to save my marriage. I had received the book and the accompanying study guide as a gift a year ago, but had not read it. I wish I had! But I am finding it very comforting now. Prayer is so powerful, and this book helps you apply your prayers so they will have the greatest positive effect on your husband and your marriage. I recommend it highly to any woman who loves her husband, &/or wants to be a better wife.

Holly,
Praise the Lord for your marriage being restored! I am currently divorced but praying & waiting for restoration of my marriage. I also have the book and even though divorced, am still praying for my husband. It is a good book!!! She also has small prayer booklets where there are prayers in there and I found those good becuase sometimes I don't know the words to pray or I don't focus well on specifics so they kind of helped me. There is truly MUCH power in prayer and it is one of our spiritual weapons that without it we are an easy target for the enemy!
God bless!!

I am just now reading this book as well. So far I think it is great. I believe that prayer is one of the most powerful things I can do to restore my marriage. I intend to give it my all and put into practice what I read in this book.
Both my husband and I are Christians, brought up in solid Christian homes. Imagine my surprise at finding out he's had 3 affairs! He is currently wavering about the last one - not sure if he wants to be with us (wife, 2 children) or OW. I'm counting on prayer to be the answer here. It's not the least I can do...it's the most I can do in this situation.
