I have Power of a Praying Wife I also have the study guide book. I really really really like it. My husband doesn't have a Christian background really until he met me, but he's learning. I have a few other things that have really helped me to change to be a better wife. Apples of Gold, they have a website that is really good.
I know we can't copy what the book says in PoPW word for word but if we read a chapter we can discuss it, what do you think of that?

I think it would be really nice to discuss it, I just didn't know how to start! Maybe your study guide would contain discussion starters we could borrow. I'd like to get that study guide, where can I get it? Is it expensive?

If I knew how to meet for a chat, I'd be happy to. You may have to walk me through it. LOL I'd like to post a message across several different threads to see if we can't gain a following. It looks like we may already have 3-4. I'd rather not have a discussion too large to keep track, but I'd like to bring in a few more if possible. My email address is jenateare@cinci.rr.com. Have you already read any of the book? If not, I'd say start by reading Chapter 1. Most of the chapters are very short (chapter one being the longest, of course). Hopefully purpleroses will catch up with us, I think she's the one who has the study guide to go along with the book. She might find some very useful discussion questions to help us get started. I'd say we should start a new thread for every chapter. What do you think?

Sorry ladies I was VERY busy the past few days. Do we all have an Instant messanger? I have a few of them <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> we could read a Chapter a week and then discuss it or I could get all your emails and then send out an email with the study guide questions then we can chat about our answers???
I got the book from church book store and it wasn't expensive. You might be able to go to Amazon.com and find it? The study guide has about 18 questions (first chapter) and also has you reading scripture, it's not too long but that's why I was thinking I could email all the questions out and then we could pick a day/time and get together to talk especially if there is any pray requests.
So what do you all think?
