I am interested in joining this study group. I am getting married in 5 days and already have the book. Is this group still ongoing?

Hi. Just happened to see your post. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> I don't think this group is here. I am not sure. It's a great book though, and congrats on your upcoming wedding. There is an AWESOME site though of ALL women (a woman's forum called Lifeway- no men which is kinda nice actually!)... very sweet, godly, prayerful, kind women at this site: http://forums.lifeway.com/6/ubb.x

It's a site that has online Bible studies with Beth Moore's Bible studies. She is awesome! You might want to check it out. The women at this site are just awesome women! There is a lady there right now whose husband is divorcing her and they all decided to each do a 24 hour prayer for her and all signed up for 30 min. during the day to pray for her.

Anyways... if you are interested in online studies, this would be a good place to be a part of one (Beth Moore).

God bless your wedding day! I hope is is very special, sacred, and memorable!!

I use the "The Power of the Praying Wife" on a daily basis and would be happy to participate in a discussion.

I am currently discovering my faith at this time so I am eager to connect with other women in this manner.

I love this book! Right after my husband and I reconciled 4 years ago the Lord led me to read POPW and it literally changed my life and my marriage. I need to get it back out and re-read it. The prayers in it are so powerful.

Hi Veryhurt,

Not alot of people over on this board. I'd suggest you post under Prayer Requests if you are wanting to talk about Prayer. Give us a bit more info on yourself and I'm sure others will give you great advise and encouragement.

I know that many times it seems that God is just not listening to us. But He listens to EVERY prayer, just doesn't answer like we would like Him to. Keep praying, don't give up.

Hello All!

I'm new and just starting to get my feet wet with the MB Forum. Forgive me if I stumble for a bit while getting around!

This book was recommended to me by my Pastor after experiencing my own personal heartbreak. In beginning to pray for my H, using Stormie's guidance, it made me feel empowered to pick myself up by my bootstraps and give my H the greatest gift I could...prayer for him. It has, thus far, made me a stronger survivor and was almost instantly powerful in creating new changes in my H's attitude and his love for me.

Interesting how God works, isn't it? We pray for others and He blesses our hearts in return. The greatest thing is that everyone is blessed!

Let us keep reading, praying and seeking encouragement from each other. God cares!

JR

Heavenbnd: I want to share your insight. I have that book as well. I have read the SAA and was still seeking answers. I have found the same thing you mentioned in your post that God has answered you. I have asked for help and guidance and prayer. I have found all of those things and more. I have had the world revealed to me as only God can do.
I have been asking for God to pray for my H and me but never thank God for giving me this blessing. Now you say....what is she nuts!!! No, though pain comes happiness. I have heard the message and have done as asked.
I will be signing off of this board as of today. I have asked God and He has shown me the steps and they are Working. I have finally found a way to reach my husband and we are TALKING without Lovebusting. IN a single day.....Praise God and I will pray for you. Ask God to pray for you and tahnks him for his blessing. I had another christian wife who had been betrayed ask me if I had thanked God for the blessing of infidelity. I said well, no are you nuts????Peace and Remember with God all things are possible through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.....

Very hurt: I will be glad to talk with you in this forum about anything you want to discuss. I have found the book mentioned very helpful and tried the things Stormie has said. I was going to alot of other topics looking for the right place. This is the only one that I think we need as christians and wives.
I hope that I can help you with your pain. I have felt that pain and know how you are feeling. See my post to Heaven above this one. Talk with you later and I will pray for you and your H. Peace

Well, i hve always been one of those...God is my co-pilot people. Now I am....I am God's co-pilot and I am happier and peaceful. My marraige has been shaken but not destroyed and I can love unconditionally cause God has shown me how...Praise God and read my other post to Veryhurt and Heavenbnd...Peace.

I'll join your discussion if you start one. Let me know.

This book has been wonderful for me as well. I currently post parts of a chapter each week on the PR forum.

God Bless You All!!
