Okay betrayed. Does your S talk when in his/her sleep? Do you find that your start wondering what it is that they're dreaming about... and seemingly enjoying? Is it the OP?
I've heard bits of conversation, laughter, orgasmic moans -- you name it. It makes me wonder if I'm being too sensitive and preoccupied with the fact that our rebuilding is going nowhere. Am I imagining that she's dreaming of the OM? I just don't remember these "events" (talking in sleep) before.
P.S. I know I slept better before she had the affair. Perhaps I just wasn't awake to know it?
--keystone

keystone -- First let me tell you that what I am about to offer is a very stern warning.
DO NOT take what she says or does in her sleep for anything other than a dream. A few months ago, my W called me by another mans name in her sleep. I thought I was going to die.
With the help of several very caring people here, my W and I were able to understand that this was JUST A DREAM. If you try and read anything else into it, you are setting yourself up for what may be totally unnecessary pain.
Just my 2 cents worth. . .
God Bless

keystone -- OK, I went back and looked up the post I was telling you about. The post was last modified on August 19th, and the name of the thread was There is NO WAY I can compare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Just to a search on my name, and you will find a link to the thread if you want to read what happened with us.
God Bless

Keystone,
With my W's earlier affairs, she would have dreams about work as well as dreams about OM. She even had dreams about us to include our boys. I personally think dreams are what the subconscious mind is focusing on at the time. Those ideas have to surface one way or the other: during the waking moments or in our dreams.
However, it will eventually subside when things start to get better. Because she hasn't slept in our bed since May 30, 1999, I don't know if she talks in her sleep any more. She doesn't tell me when she has dreams like she used to. I don't worry about it much. I pray hard that God will make some change in me that will allow her to see Him.
------------------
God Bless,
Rob

One night, I heard my H talking in his sleep -- or thought I did. I distinctly heard him say, "Can't wait to see you....bye bye" -- as if he was talking on the phone.
I was groggy, but I remember thinking, "Listen...this may tell you what you need to know."
My H never talks in his sleep -- ever.
I was devastated. But you know what? I think I was dreaming it too...that I wasn't really awake after all.

I called my husband at work, because he left so early and didn't say goodbye.... So I called to say hello.
He said when he left I was fast away in snoozville. He said I was talking in my sleep.
Then he said that I was saying "Mommy" - in a little girls voice. He said I do this almost every night.
I have no idea what I'm dreaming!!!!
So, don't put any importance on the talking in the sleep.
