I've noticed two things on this board.
1) People post generally when things are real bad or real good.
2) People reply when things are ok, neither bad nor good.
I see alot of replies from you but no posts. So how are you doing? I know you're not dead or nuts because you are here! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] How about a line or two?
See ya and God bless
------------------
1Co:2:4: And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
1Co:2:5: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Things are just OK.... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
SD is still not coming home at night, missing school at least once or twice a week, came to Thanksgiving dinner loaded.
Other SD is still living at BIL's, but is being threatened to get kicked out. She's hanging around some gal named "Patience" (For real) - who has a reputation of doing drugs.
Both are going to CA for Christmas. H is not disciplining.
Not much change with the relationship with H. He states that he knows I love him when I accept and support everything he wants to do. It has nothing to do with right or wrong, but about acceptance. Translation: It means that my hopes/dreams/wants/desires/needs don't count. Only his.
I am continually going back to chapter 1 of the Power of the praying wife, can't seem to get beyond the realization that I need to pray for "his wife". I am now asking God to change me - maybe change my emotional needs so that they will fit into what my husband will give, so that I can somehow feel his love for me. And, I am praying and confessing my bitterness and unforgiveness daily.
My sister wrote me yesterday and guess what -she is boughtnpaid4. So, I know I'm loved and cared for by her, even though we haven't had much communication in the last 2 months.
Thanksgiving was great. My SIL's have been so nice to me, I'm pinching myself to see if it is real! I've been praying for "favor" before God and man, and I'm getting it!!!
Been sewing up a storm to get ready for Christmas! Have made jumpers for grandaughter, vest for grandson - wall hanging, placemats...... Busy busy busy!!!
And, my dear husband took my car down and had it washed, and shampooed the carpets in it on Sunday morning. He has never done that for me before!
So, I guess - things are okay. I'm not content yet, but I think God will help me get where I need to be.
How are you doing, my friend?
TNT

Grinning ear to ear now. I'm glad you are at least making the best of situation if not doing some down right good things.
I read and responded on the Bible board. I'm glad your sis is on board with you, family can be such a saving grace. I emphasize the "can be" part. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I don't have alot to say as far as your SD's go, other than what I said on the other board.
I'm good, well, as good as can be expected. I still have the ever present feeling of paranoia with me. What is she doing, who is she talking to, why didn't she call? Normal stuff. She has been home for 2 1/2 weeks and again, things are as good as can be expected. Ups and downs.
Christmas play coming up. I have been asked to portray Jesus in this play. It tells about the whole lilfe of Jesus. I am him on the cross!!! I'm nervous. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
And I'm glad to hear from you as well, my friend.
------------------
1Co:2:4: And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
1Co:2:5: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
