My husband left Friday morning at 11:00am,
he went to into town, he didn't come home till 5:00am the next morning, we weren't fighting so this is totally out of the blue.
He spent 450.00. I totally lost it, he said
all he did was drink way too much beer and spent too much money. I can't image spending that kind of money on just beer, I told him I think he went out and picked up someone and had a good time, he swears the most he did was buy a women some drinks. He won't tell me which bars, nothing, he expects me to believe him and forgive him, he swears he will never do this again, I don't know what to do, I don't know what to think - help
------------------
Hi Pam and Welcome to MB -
Well, this is yucky!!! How did this come about?
Has he ever done anything like this before? Was it a special occassion? Did you know where he was supposed to be going and with whom? Did he have the money on him or did he get more and more from the ATM or something as the night went on?
What kind of shape was he in when he finally came home?
Sorry for all the questions...but it's better to get as clear a picture as possible in order to help you...
What does your gut tell you?
How long have you been married and how old are you guys? Again, just helps to get a picture.....
WE are here for you and will help you all that we can.
HUGS,
Sheba

Pam--
I would venture a guess that the bar hopping was actually strip clubbing, given the amount of money spent. Again, guessing...but buying the strippers drinks is all part of that racket.
If my guess IS correct, he may not know how to tell you where he was...fearing your reaction.

We are both 39 years old, we've been married
2 years both our 2nd marriage. He took 300.00 out at 5:00pm an additional 200.00 before midnight, he didn't come home till 5:00 next morning, so drunk he should have been in jail or sleeping it off - I can't believe he was so irresponsible. He said he just don't know why he did it, no reason, no excuse, just he screwed up. He won't tell me anything other than trust him. He can't look me in the eye,
my gut tells me he went out started drinking, flirting, and I guess what bothers me is why would a married man be in a bar buying other women drinks if he is happy being married. He told me he just talked and bought drinks - what does that tell you in your opion? He's looking for what?
