Ted,<P>It is recommended that all contact be eliminated from the betrayer and their affair partner. For one reason, to give you peace of mind and allow you to be able to trust again.<P>Also, your W needs to go through withdrawal and get over this OM. That will be hard to do when they have contact. She should be willing to give him up completely for your recovery to work. There is a good chance the affair could start up again when that communication begins again.<P>You should read the MB site and familiarize yourself with all the information. Are you two in counseling? That is important also.<P>Good luck.

It is necessary that your W gives up the OM for your marriage to work, but there are people here who will help you deal with your pain regardless of what happens.
